If You are a Farmer, You Cannot Get Your Trees Just Anywhere 9/19/2005

We purchase our walnut trees and cherry trees at this nursery in Oakdale. I know it is quite a distance to go for trees, but you cannot get your trees just anywhere. We put our order in ahead of time for trees. They keep track and then call when it is time to pick up your trees for planting. They will let our ranch employee pick up the trees and then bill our account, which makes it convenient. The trees are in good condition and there is nothing to complain about. more

  • Burchell Nursery, located in Oakdale, Calif., was founded in 1942 by Irvin Burchell. It is one of the leading nurseries in the Oakdale area and sells more that 2 million trees very year. The nursery is a family-owned and operated business and offers a wide variety of trees and plants to customers. Burchell Nursery offers a variety of fruit trees, such as apple, apricot, cherry, nectarine, olive, peaches, plum and prune trees. The nursery also offers various nut trees, including almonds and walnuts. It also provides various charts and data, such as nectarine ripening sequence, cherry pollination chart and apple rootstock chart.
