I do like to go to garden centers and have received several gift certificates to Iowa City Landscaping on Highway 1 West in Iowa City. They have a big variety of all types of bedding plants and shrubs and trees. Inside the store you are treated to a huge array of bulbs,seeds and other gardening needs. What I like the most is the decorative objects for your garden. I also like to look at the water features and dream. I like the fact that they do stand behind their products and a lot of the department/discount stores that sell plants do not. Price wise they are a little more expensive but knowledge and quality are part of what you are buying. I Dig It. more

I have stopped here a few times to look around. They have a great selection of trees. Most major species are here. Buying the trees was a smooth process. The employees helped to take them out to our car. Inside they had some nice fixtures that could go into your landscaping plans. Most of the stuff was very nice, I was impressed with the selection. more
