Their installer just left. He arrived at 9:59 for a 10:00 appointment. The first thing he did was put little booties on his shoes to protect our carpets. He was in and out in a few minutes. Did a great job and was very nice. I even signed up with citysearch just to write this review. I wish every business was this well run. more

We had our blinds installed today. Louis and Miguel installed them perfectly and could not have been more professional or courteous. We are so pleased! Eric was wonderful to work with and I can't thank him enough for helping us with our selections. He had great suggestions and ideas. I've never written a review like this but afer having such a positive experience with this company I was happy and compelled to add my comments. We chose solar blinds (the cordless style for livingroom and continous loop for dining room and guest bedroom), and cordless cellular day/night shadess for the master bedroom. Their quality and craftmanship is stellar. We could not be happier! I recommend Eric and his team without reservation. You will not be disappointed. more

My hubby and I were looking to replace the blinds in our home and searched a few places before coming across Budget Blinds of Brooklyn. I honestly have NEVER encountered such professional and wonderful service. From Eric (in home estimate) to Miguel and Louis (installers) we could not be happier. Eric makes the Budget Blinds experience as painless as possible. We tried Lowes and Home Depot in Brooklyn as well as other custom places and the Home Depot in Manhattan, and Eric's service was definitely the most personal and thoughtful by far. We bought one set from him last year and went back for another set this year. The in-home consultation is key, because most other places are hesitant to give detailed advice without looking at the windows. But Eric got into it and took his time discussing all of our options and helping us weigh the pros and cons. The BEST thing about Budget Blinds is that they can get almost any brand, so we were able to consider the higher end brands that Home Depot and Lowes carry but for a much better price. Plus their 5 year, no questions asked replacement warranty cannot be matched! Definitely check them out for a consultation and you will be happy you did. We were looking to save a couple bucks by buying from online dealers, but for one reason or another, it never panned out (i.e. color we chose - after we paid - became out of stock). So we decided to give Budget Blinds a try. Eric Griffith heads the company, and came to our house with samples, plus brought pictures on his digital camera of actual Brooklyn apartments in which their blinds were installed. Eric was great - so personable, and honest - he was extremely forthcoming about prices and rates; also was great about tailoring the blind selection to our budget. And if you ask him for his opinion on aesthetics, he'll be straight with you. Great customer service. And the stellar customer service extended to his installers, Luis and Miguel - they were extremely (and surprisingly) professional and polite, efficient, and did a great job installing our blinds (installation is included in the price). We could have easily kept shopping online and saved a couple hundred here or there, but not having to deal with the hassle of installation, having the pro's do it in a fraction of the time it would have taken us, it was well worth the extra money. Plus, just to have amazing customer service in a city where it is lacking is totally refreshing. We have already recommended the company to friends that live in the building - and will gladly recommend Budget Blinds to anyone else. We're also REALLY happy with the blinds as well!
