Best

My whole family loves Buca. Moving to Utah from the east coast - there are not too many places that serve good Italian food. Buca is great. Their caesar salad and chicken marsa...

The food is good, but they try to bowl you over with the amount of food. If you are a Chuck-a-Rama fan or if you've been starving in the desert for a month this might be attracti...

Kitsch Is Here!!! 7/17/2002

As we took our tour to the table we laughed and thought what fun. Once we understood it was family style the prices made sense. The best eggplant parm that we've ever tasted. The bruschetta was great! The ceaser was very good also. To those people who don't get it...Olive Garden is there for you...for those who want good food and fun....Come Here. Pros: Good Parking, Friendly Hostess, Great Decor Cons: Servers could improve more

Explanation... 6/28/2002

For those of you who can't grasp the idea behind BDB let me explain. The food is served "family style" which means a huge plate of pasta for about $12 that serves 2-3 people. The same with salads and main entrees like veal parmigiana. When you break it down the cost is about $10-$16 per person which is what you would easily spend at Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. Pros: knowledgable servers, food tastes good, fresh sauces Cons: none more

This place was interesting for sure! first thing they walk you through the kitchen, then about 20 min later, you find your booth. Can you say "overkill?" 3000 pictures on the wall. Anyway, it was dark, and gloomy inside, with the stereotypical "Frank Sinatra" blaring on the radio. As if it cant get any worse, you have to kink your neck looking on the wall for your menu. While your cranking your neck, get ready to crank out your wallet! the cheapest thing on the menu was a plate of spagetti for 10 bucks! everything else was like $19.00!! the waiter talked us into sharing a dish for $23.00 needless to say, I had to stop an Mcdonalds on the way home! I was not impressed with this place. They dont even offer you bread, or water, and for that price, it was paper napkins. Our server was a quack. Pros: good parking, lots to look at Cons: expensive, dark, bad service more

  • In Short
Homesick for your mother's Italian cooking? Grab your appetite and head to this restaurant, where the friendly wait staff will serve up portions of Colosseum-esque proportions, like spaghetti and meatballs loaded with savory tomato sauce and lots of pungent garlic. Dishes center on Southern Italian immigrant fare, and are meant to be shared family-style with a large goblet of wine-to enhance the taste, of course. The ornate décor with walls covered in vintage photos evokes a warm homey feel that welcomes customers to dine among the other families and loyal customers. Buon Appetito!
