DO NOT patron this business! They damage and incorrectly launder clothing constantly with no apology or compensation for their mistakes. Sometimes clothes are returned wet, which leads to mildew. They also over charge and make errors in receipt totals. Ownership changes hands every few years with no improvement in customer service. Overall its too costly $12.70 min + weight per pound and the poor service doesn't make it worth it. They tend to get business because they are the only nearby pickup & dropoff however they are a ripoff & rude.\r more

I scheduled a morning pick-up for a Saturday between 6am-10am. At 10am exactly, the office called me and told me they would be unable to pick up my laundry that morning. They gave me a couple of different excuses why such as the driver was late. The woman I spoke with told me they would pick up my laundry Monday between 6am-10am instead. At 9:30am Monday morning, there was no sign of the driver so I contacted the office. The man I spoke with seemed to have no idea the pick-up of my laundry had been rescheduled. He told me would have the driver come by that afternoon by 1pm. At 1:45pm, there was still no sign of the driver. I contacted the office again and spoke with the same woman from Saturday morning. She just told me the driver was busy and asked if I would be home that evening! I had already been waiting at home for the driver all day so I told her to cancel the order. I e-mailed a few people at the company to let them know about the experience and that I was disappointed with their service, but I never got a reply e-mail. My advice would be to use another company. more

I've used Bubbleworks for the last 4 months and had nothing but a very good experience. Before I used them, I saw some of the reviews and discussed them with the owner. He explained that there's been a change in management recently and maybe that explains some of the less-than-best reviews.\r \r I followed my guts and tried them. Excellent results! I'm satisafied with the way they pick up my clothes from my home and bring it bag nice and clean.\r \r They even brought it to my office one day when I told them I wasnt going to be home! Now, that what I call service! more

Bubble Works Laundry Service is the best around the best i have ever tried sing up for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly save 20% and your clothes will still come back smelling downey fresh. more

Laundry picked up friday nite. I opted to save $5 and forego next day delivery even though I got a call saying it would be $5 for sunday delivery. I countered with 48 hours is TWO days I expect it back sunday. Promotion was 10% off and a free bubbleworks laundry bag. No bag, slip included a 10% tip (counters discount). wash came back with shredded dryer sheets cut and strewn in laundry because they didn't use them in the drying process. How do I know that - the laundry didn't smell fresh, lots of static and despite overemphasizing one bag was to cold wash/ rinse w/ LOW DRYING - pants and sweaters were overdried (wrinkled beyond ironing) and while towels, bands of pants were damp, the clothes shrunk. Considering that was all the weekly work clothes for 3 females, it's a considerable hit to replace. I am infuriated but should have done my homework. I used to use laundry dot bz who does incredible work, but I am 2 blocks out of cut off block! :( I'd rather move before use Bubbleworks again! Maybe the mention I was shopping services for local businesses I now insure might have had them do the right thing - what they were overpaid for! And I learned my lesson - research, research research. Anyone use another service that can do the job they are paid for? I'm also gifting 15 pairs of pants srze 12 to someone who is seriously shortlegged now... more

The convenience of picking up from my home is unbeatable! \r \r I have used them for several months now and I'm quite happy. That their drivers are uniformed makes it easier and safe for me to open my door for them. I spoke to the new owner recently and he seem to appreciate me and my business. I certainly appreciate the free pickup and delivery. more

I tried this place once and will never again. They are a disorganized, dysfunctional and confused bunch of misfits. \r \r If I could have given a Zero rating I would have- the one star is way too much. Cons: Very Unreliable, Very Poor Customer Service, more

I'm sure I am preaching to the choir by writing this review as it seems that there is universal agreement as to the poor quality of this establishment. so rather than restate what has already been said I will just add to what I've read... I just spent the last hour refolding EVERYTHING because the clothes were so carelessly folded. When we unpacked our laundry, there were hundreds of little dryer sheet pieces stuck to the clothes which I have now been informed was to make the clothes smell nice????!!!! This garbage is now everywhere. Additionally, many of our clothes are too wrinkled to wear and must be rewashed or ironed? They also delivered the laundry on the wrong day. I have no idea how these people are still in business but I am onboard for boycotting them. Cons: price, service, quality more

""laundry dot bz "" is a great alternative. schedule online and their service is fantastic! I use them every week, my clothes are always cleaned properly, and they always deliver on time. You schedule one-hour slots. I'd never wait 4 hours for delivery of laudry. more

There are no pros to this place. Here are the cons: Expensive for TERRIBLE service. They come at random hours of the day. Have poor customer service. I tried to contact someone in customer service regarding a billing issue but it took 8 days to finally speak to the manager (Raymond) who tried to avoid my call by saying he would call me back in 5 minutes but of course he did not. He was very rude, unhelpful and did nothing to resolve my billing issue. On top of that they shrunk my clothes and were not apologetic or offer me any type of compensation. \r DO NOT USE! Please do not use this service!! After speaking to a few employees I was advised to allow 72 hours for my order to be processed, but even after that they still cannot deliver when promised. More than once delivery drivers return back to the laundromat with my order writing on my ticket that I didn't answer the door, when I have been home and watching for the delivery and the driver has not tried to call me or even ring my doorbell. I have wasted a number of days waiting for laundry delivery. Also have trouble with clothing being torn / ripped, and having other people's laundry intermingled with my laundry. I pay promptly with my debit card and tip the drivers very well, but I will not use this service again. It would take less time if I went to the laundromat and did my own laundry at this point. The only reason I chose this service is because they are the only company I can find that will pick up and deliver in Bed Stuy. Pros: Pick up and deliver in Bed Stuy Cons: Wow!! Please avoid this place, they are awful. Im always nervous trusting them with my clothes, but I use it because its close, but NEVER AGAIN! Today I went to pick up my clothes in the morning and they had left them in the washer overnight, sitting in water and mildewing. They said they do that all the time. I have often found other people's clothes in my bag. It is dirty, the staff is rude and they are extremely overpriced. How are they in business?? Cons: They will ruin your clothes more

(1) Underwear that do not belong to me are ALWAYS in my clothes.\r (2) Whenever I call, the customer service is pretty bad. \r (3) If they need to reschedule a delivery, hope that the store remembers to call you. I spent two mornings waiting for my delivery (and it not come) only to have the store tell me they forgot to call. I could have been at work.\r (4) One delivery was so dry, I could no longer use some of my clothes anymore...as a matter of fact, a skirt of mine was ruined...a blanket ruined...and of course, I still had underwear that did not belong to me included in there!!!!!!!!\r (5) On the flip side, one delivery was not properly dried, they were folded in the bag extremely damp. I had to hang them all up to dry.\r (6) For the service they give, they overcharge. I've gone back to them in an effort to not be too quick to judge..but now i'm fed up. My last delivery was 3 hours late without a single phone call from the store. I sat around for their 4 hour window plus 3 extra hours. Missing clothes, other peoples clothes, laundry that was dry cleaned and my favorite... dry cleaning that was washed. Avoid at any and all costs. Pros: You avoid sitting at the local laundromat for 4 hours... Cons: You sit for 4 hours at home waiting for a delivery that may or may not come... more

First, they have a miniumin charge of $30.00 which is no where on their site, if you only have 20 pds. you are still being charged $30.00. I called and comlianed, of course they said it was on the site ( trust me it;s not, I checked and double checked) I then asked for a refund of the $7.00 which they gave me after a good fight, only proble is they charged my debit card twice so both charges have been penind on my checking account for 3 days. \r Ahh the service, it was horrible, my clothes are wrinkled and dry, very dry. they have never heard of fabric softner. Go anywhere but don't go here. more

DON'T GO TO BUBBLEWORKS! They are absolutely awful. The have four-hour windows to pick up and drop off. When I used them, they picked up on a SUnday night and were due to drop off on a Wednesday night. A half-hour into the scheduled drop-off time, after I rushed home for the start time, they called and said they weren't coming because the laundry wasn't finished. To reschedule, even though it was their fault, they refused to schedule a smaller window than four hours, and refused to offer any discount or even a coupon in concilliation. Then when I got the bill, I was floored! Significantly more expensive then the drop-off/pick-up place I used when I lived in Manhattan. Pros: Laundry was cleaned and folded to satisfaction Cons: Price, plus 10% tip on both drop off and pick ups, don't deliver when supposed to, even though they have 4 HOUR WINDOWS! more
