I used to go to nail shops to get my brows done and with then its a hit or miss. Today I got my brows done by the owner Joan and my brows have never looked like this. I have the hardest time getting an arch and she not only did that I had full beautiful brows when she was done. There is no comparison. Go here! Joan is the best at what she does and shes just the sweetest person you will ever meet. more

I have mixed emotion about my first visit to Browz, I ran over before work, because I thought, ""It's Tuesday, aren't people at work in the middle of the day?"" Obviously, other women have those some feelings :) But she worked quickly and efficiently through those customers and when it was my turn I still had time to make it to work. I told her it was my first time ever having anything done to my eyebrows and I explained to her what sort of looking I was going for. She gave me an option of how I wanted to have them sculpted and let me know how long each option would last. I chose to have her use the razor. After she was done my eyebrows looked lovely and I understood why people pay to have them shaped. They looked really pretty and my ""look"" was suddenly more polish even though I was wearing cutoff shorts and a tank top. The only thing is the area around my eyes was stinging. Which is to be expected when someone scrapes hair off of your face with a razor. Problematically, there wasn't a hygiene wipe down of the area before or after. I was rushing off to work and thinking that I really needed to sanitize that part of my face. So, I pulled out an alcohol wipe that I got from work and used that. If they had done a quick before and after swipe with a cotton ball dipped in astringent or something similar the experience would have been a perfect first brow shaping. Like I said I had lovely brows, but I was kind of concerned about the lack of prep my face got before or after...mixed emotions. more

I went to Browz today and had an awesome experience. Joan and her team are very friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. It was my first time ever getting my brows waxed and she totally made me feel comfortable. A client there even up sold me on some eyelashes which I equally love. Besides Joan being super awesome she has some pretty cool clients too. I will definitely be visiting this place at least once a month to get my brows and lashes done. more

I have searched for someone to fill the place of the person, who did my eyebrows my first 3 years in Atlanta after she decided to pursue a different career. After reading the rave reviews, I tried Browz-A Brow & Make-Up Bar this past Saturday. I was NOT disappointed. I appreciate how Joan consulted with me on my need - a fuller brow. (This may or may not happen at other places). I also appreciated her advising myself and other clients to wait a minimum of 4 weeks. (This is CLEARLY not the norm, as others will encourage a return visit after 2-3 weeks.) more

I just happened to read some of the aforementioned reviews and I can 100% agree with all of the outstanding comments made regarding Browz and it?s wonderful owner Joan. I have been a customer for around 12 years from the pink house, to downtown to Decatur and to her convenient location right at the I-20 exit. I have always been satisfied with her services. The atmosphere is pleasant and I find the customers are very engaging. Her diverse clientele are from all walks of life and the conversations are awesome. Besides for walking out of the makeup bar feeling and gorgeous, I often feel renewed from the camaraderie. I guess I should mention Joan can make your brows as fierce and a fiery as you would like. I personally like to have my brows waxed and from time to time bleached. Just like my hair and loyalty to my hairstylist, I only allow Joan to touch my brows as my browstylist! Have a seat at her makeup bar and you will come back again and again. more

Sooo...I'm out of town on business lookin' crazy because I won't let anyone else touch my browz. It's that serious! Joan was the first to do my browz and the best! Life takes you places sometimes and I have tried to keep my browz clean in between time, but I always find my way back to Joan. She's awesome and really knows her art. After graduating Esthetics Training I knew I wanted to get more training specifically in Brow Sculpting & Lash Application. After much research and reading reviews I found Mz. Joan. The first thing I want to say is she is a genuine person. From our very 1st conversation she has always been very helpful and Professional! I flew from Dallas,TX. to Decatur to attend both classes and it was worth every penny! She taught me all the tricks of the trade to make my lash and brow biz a success. The thing I appreciate about Mz. Joan also is her patience. I asked a million questions in class and she didnt seem to mind at all. Even after training 2 mo. ago, I can still call and she is always available to answer my questions. Browz is the best place to get your beauty needs. I have searched everywhere for a good specialist and they have ALWAYS come up short. When I found Joan and Browz I have not strayed yet(been going here for over 6 years!!). This is the best in Atlanta and Decatur and I have lived in Atlanta my whole life so I know what I'm talking about! If you are a college student, specifically Agnes Scott(alumna!!)/Emory then you need to take advantage of the services that they offer here. When I get my eyebrows done people tell me they look ""so professional."" They look like celebrity brows. They are so polished and neat. When I have gone to other brow specialists, the brows still have a rough look to them. I have learned that you always think your brows look good until after you have gone to Joan because when you see how she does them at Browz, you will see what the other places are lacking in technical training. I thought my brows looked good when I went to other places, but when I found Browz I could see the flaws in how my brows had been done at the other establishments. After coming to browz my face is complete. I have had both the wax and blade brow treatments and let me say that unlike some places, you will look just as great with the blade treatment. I have had lashes put in here and love, love, love them! Too many compliments after leaving here. This is surely and ego booster and the people are always nice and professional and the atmosphere is fun and has a welcoming vibe. The prices are affordable and is so worth it! I attended a makeup party at Browz Makeup Bar. I had never heard of such. It was the best idea. It was my friend's birthday and oh oh oh, we loved it. Ms. Joan did all of our makeup. I travelled from Alabama to Atlanta for a class with Ms. Joan, I knew she had a lot of experience. I went to cosmetology school but I love makeup. The brows and lash classes did it for me. Well! We were totally surprised at this makeup bar concept. This place rocks! The staff really rocks! Me and my girls saw a Browz flyer on the UGA campus and we said when we go back to Atlanta ""we will go to Browz"" and we did. We had the best time.
