NOT A WINNER 10/3/2011

Though we had found a winner. WRONG!!!!!!!!!! they are just as bad as the ones on the corner. You pay out the butt for a car and then you call back and the salesman you dealt with is no longer there, So now from one person to another the little phone passing begins. Doesn't matter what was said when you got the car cause and I quote, "they don't work here anymore" so anything that was said in good faith is NULL AND VOID now. Thanks for making my daughters 1st time buying experimce where she thinks that all people do is lie as you have. GREAT JOB JERKS! more

70 Years of Quality Service?? 6/27/2010

having the reputation they do, i'd expect a lot more of them. my mother has purchased 4 cars from them in the past 4 years, the most recent one being for me. after having the car for 8 months they call me asking to trade it because they have high request need that year and model. i have tried twice since to purcahse and lease a new car, and they tell me i have negative equity and they can't do anything for me. well yeah...having a 4 year old car for 8 months would allow that. I would think with all the business we;ve given them they would do more to help and satisfy the customer, especially when they begged for the car back in the first place. Never buying from them again. more

Hit or Miss 2/18/2010

We bought our car there and have brought it there for repairs too. Each time I have a different experience. Sometimes its great and sometimes not. more

I have been there many times as we have bought like 3 different kinds of Jeeps. They are very friendly and helpful. We did end up buying our Jeeps closer to our home though. more

My family has used B&W since as long as I can remember. Our sales guy has been the same for all of these years and he will even come to our house to pick up our cars when they're due for an oil change or other service and he'll leave us a program car to drive that day. Super cool people and great service department! more

I have bought and traded in a few vehicles at Brown & Wood. They are always very helpful and treat me well as a customer. The service department has always had my vehicle in and out when I request and they do a great job. more

I went to Brown-Wood to have my car serviced and I was treated like I had just bought a new car. The salesperson explained in detail what was going on with my car. I would good back to them and I would recommend them to others. more

I can't say that I've been here, but I will say that the whole discriminated against a student thing seems pretty baseless to me. There was nothing in that review that sounded like discrimination at all. Maybe they were just being mean because the reviewer was making a pest of himself. Just a thought. more

Brown & Wood 7/31/2007

I heard great things about Brown & Wood so I took my car there for some small repair work. So I picked up my car 5 hrs later while sat across the street at the Texas Steakhouse. The guy told me the work would be done 1 hr later. I called, he was gone at lunch, so I left a message. 2nd time, I left a message. No one ever called me back until 5:30 that evening- when I thought they were closed! Needless to say- they didnt fix the problem, doesnt look like they tried to attempt it, left grease all over my gear shifts. I was so mad that they didnt attempt to fix my car- I went up there, the big boss wasnt there. I called and left a message and no one called me back. I know not everything can be fixed immediately- but I do know that you should call someone when something is promised, and that the manager and owner should have called me back. Im not even that mad that they didnt call me back when promised, or that I couldnt get a manager- but more for wasting my time. I totally feel like they blew me off thinking I was a college student- so I wouldnt go there, and I wouldnt advise anyone else to go- especially students. They didnt care about me or worry if I would send them business again because they knew I wasnt going to be there forever. Im in med school here, so Ill be here for awhile. Cons: Discriminated because Im a student. more
