Brookwood Animal Hospital - Jennifer Reesman DVM

My family has used Brookwood Animal Hospital since 1984. It is an amazing place. They have helped us with pets that needed to be euthanized and helped us welcome new pets into our lives. They have always treated my animals (dogs and cats) with the best care. My dog LOVES going to the vet. They always greet with such warmth. I have always admired the "vet pets' they have as well. Cats usually that live at the office. Since I have been going they have had at least one or more animals they have adopted. This is a great place for your animals. They have always given my family the best advice for the animal. more

My parents have been taking their dog to this vet for 13 years now, and have always been more than pleased with the service and the people there. I recently rescued a puppy and took him there as well (there are several other vets closer to where I live) and have been extremely pleased with them as well. My dog recently had a week of bad luck, he got his tail cut off in a door, got bit by something and had a horrible allergic reaction, and he also had some kind of a stomach illness. He had to go to the after hours animal hospital three times in a week - and every time the next day the doctors at Brookwood Animal Hospital would call me and ask how he was and if I had any questions or concerns. We've had to take him in to Brookwood several times in the past few weeks, and he actually loves going there. He pulls me into the door just so he can see all his "friends" there. My daughter found 2 dogs. She took them to Brookwood because they were our vet, to see if they knew the dogs. They did not know them and said that since one of the dogs were injured and the other was a pitbull that animal control would put them the injured one to sleep right away and the other in 7 days. My daughter did not want this to happen and agreed to pay them $300 in payments to fix the injured dog and find it a home. She brought the pit bull home. This vet office told her also that these dogs came from an abusive home and should never have been outside,that their owner should be ashamed of themselves for letting them run loose and that they may have been abandoned. The next day the Dr Yeomns started calling my daughter and telling her that she was going to be charged with abandonment if she didn't pay the bill right now! Told her she was a bad person for dropping her dog off and not taking care of it. He had her in tears for 2 days. Told her she needed to borrow the money and t more

My friend had to take her dog here because she had something stuck in her paw. This animal hospital got it out and they were really nice. They treated her dog do nice and I just thought that they were the perfect place. They also didn't charge much either. more
