had child there for three years. not imprssed towards the end. learned things I did not see in the early program. there is an anti bully program but the actual teachers in c.room ...

Enrolling our child in Brookridge Day School is one of the best decisions we ever made. The staff is 100% committed to helping your child succeed. They were willing to go above and beyond to help our child gain more than an education. This included improving social skills, communication skills, and giving our child tasks that were mastered and built on so that the level of confidence sky-rocketed. Brookridge is a school where your child is not a number or a label. They were able to find hidden talents that we were not even aware of. And they will continue to bring out the best in your child and work with you so that you can help continue this process at home. Our only regret is that this school does not go through high school. If they opened a school for the middle and high school grades tomorrow, we would be the first ones in line to enroll our child back in again. The level of education and the level of commitment to our child was without any doubt, the best we have experienced. more

Have has children at Brookridge since 2004. Writing this review to give info about my experience which is opposite to the two negative reviews on the site. Regarding antibullying: My child applied what he learned through Brookridge's bully busters program and character development curriculum and was instrumental in stopping a bullying incident he witnessed in Christian school after he graduated from Brookridge. Also school is very responsive when they have a small group of kids not getting along well. They give full attention to the friction until it is resolved. A group of 3 girls were not getting along well and they met many times with girls and parents until it could be remedied. I am aware of two separate incidents where a young student made a somewhat racist comment and staff was right on it and handled amazingly well, talking with students, both sets of parents. Highly Recommended 4/27/2012

Both of my kids are currently enrolled at Brookridge Day School. We could not be any more pleased with our experience. The teachers are great, and every single one of them have contributed to my children's personal growth and education. My shy 3 year old who entered the program 5 years ago, is this year performing a solo in front of hundreds of people. He could not be more confident. The school offers after school activities, and makes it easy for children with parents who work full time to participate in after school activities. Academically the school is top notch with some of the best test scores in the state. The spanish teacher is wonderful - my five year old knows every color, number (1-20) and body part in Spanish. The music teacher performs miracles every day. Come watch the children perform at Crown Center every year! Pros: null Cons: null more

had child there for three years. not imprssed towards the end. learned things I did not see in the early program. there is an anti bully program but the actual teachers in c.room are not managing bullying to degree a very very good public school would. kids are getting away with things that are not right, mean and sort of "Smart" bullying like pinching or ostracizing. bec so small other kids often afraid to say anything more

Wonderful Experience 7/13/2011

As a parent of two children that are Brookridge kids, I can only say "Thank you" to the school and all of the wonderful teachers and staff that have made it such a wonderful experience for our entire family. The best compliment I could pay to Brookridge was deciding (and it was not difficult) to send our second child. Brookridge is so much more than a school...they are family. They have been there to support us (both parents and kids) during life's ups and downs and always ready to give a hug on those days when you need a little extra encouragement. Their dedication to bring out the best in each child makes us feel confident we are giving our children the best education possible. We are fortunate to live in an area with great public schools and deciding to pay more so our children could attend Brookridge required us to make budget decisions. We have never regretted our choice and will continue to be advocates for this school long after our children graduate. Go Bulldogs! more

Best School Ever! 6/23/2011

Brookridge Day School is a wonderful place to send your kids! Our family has been involved with BDS for the last 5 years and we hated to leave. My son just graduated from third grade and I can?t tell you how much we wished this school continued to the 12th grade! I sent a letter to the principle before we left ? and this is a small quote from it ?We are losing a place - where there is love and nurturing, learning and growth going on? that is how we feel about Brookridge Day School. The level of education cannot be matched and if that wasn?t enough the level of devotion to the kids is amazing!! From the teachers, to the office staff, to the principle as well as our beloved music teacher ? they all hold a special place in our hearts!! Come see for yourselves ? this is the place to send your kids!!! more

First rate private school! 6/17/2011

Our grandchildren have attended Brookridge Day School for many years. The caring staff meets the needs of the whole child, while providing an award-winning academic program. We highly recommend Brookridge for any parent that is looking for a top-notch accredited school, with a top-notch staff, that is second to none. more

Worst choice all round for children 5/24/2011

I would not recommend this school to any parent. The staff is emotionally harmful to a childs self esteem. All of them. more

Fantastic teachers and staff, great curriculum, interesting activities, flexible hours, very friendly, effective management -- an all-around great start for my daughter's education. I can't recommend Brookridge highly enough! more

Great school and learning enviroment 7/21/2005

I had my son enrolled at Brookridge for 1 year and wish I could have kept him there longer. The staff was very friendly, they were attentive to his needs and he felt like he belonged. I never had an unpleasant incident like many experience at other preschool/daycares. Would recommend Brookridge to any family! PROS: Class size appropriate, educated staff, good classroom materials CONS: Tuition cost for some may be a problem more
