This park in DUMBO is well maintained and clean. It almost doesn't look like you are in Brooklyn! The bad part is that no dogs are allowed. It's a great place to go and relax with family and friends. Nearby is one of the best ice cream stands (freshly made) and of course Pizza down the block. more

Empire Fulton State Park 6/19/2006

Nesteled underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, this park is often the site for weddings and romantic dinners. Dogs aren't allowed and the gras is well tended--so unfurl your blanket and set out your spread. The bathrooms in the park are clean and during the summer on Thursday nights the park shows free movies under the stars. more
