Brookfield Small Engine

Took my tractor to two other shops before I found this one.The first shop wanted to sell me a new tractor. The second,after two weeks of stalling, gave me an inflated estimate. Finally, at Brookfield, they repaired it in only a few days at a fair price. Thanks for the honest service. This is how it should be. more

I had gone several other place before going to Brookfield Small Engine. I was searching for some hard to find parts for my lawn tractor. They were the only people that were able to help locate the right replacement parts. However, the parts that I ordered never came in. That may or may not have been their fault but they made it very clear that my business was not important to them. I placed my order on a Friday and was told that the parts would arrive the following Wednesday, possibly Thursday. I was told that I would get a call when the parts came in. Wednesday came and went, no call. Thursday came and was nearly over, still no call. I decided to call them. I was told that my parts still had not arrived. When I asked if they had a tracking number or some way to find out when I would receive my order I was told that they have 1000's of customers, yes ""thousands"", all with the same problem. I gave them one more day and still no parts and no call. I needed my parts but they didn't need my business. I canceled my order and they refunded my money. I went home, found my parts on Amazon and received them the next day for only $5 more than what they were asking. I think it's ridiculous that they can't provide a reasonable delivery date for parts orders. My best guess is that their parts distributor is using a lawn tractor for delivery...whatever the case, since they have so many customers I guess they won't miss my business.
