Brookfield Computer's Strength is Repair of PC's. 1/17/2011

My IBM laptop had a key that wouldn't stay on it's mount. I called ahead and set up a time to have it looked at and/or repaired while I waited. They fixed it for a very reasonable price. I wandered around the store during the repair and deduced that their forte is repair, not product sales. Thanks for the prompt quality work. more

Best Service Ever!! 12/6/2010

My computer was infected with spywares. I was getting multiple pop-ups which render the pc almost unusable. I noticed how much faster my computer ran right after I brought my pc back from Brookfield Computers. Will not go anywhere else!! Highly recommend them. more

These Guys Are Excellent !?? 10/17/2010

I had viruses and spyware on my computer. I tried to remove them but I couldn't. I took it to Brookfield Computers and they quoted between $75 -$150. They not only got rid of the virus and spyware but made my laptop run better than before. They did a full tune up at no extra charge. The technician even told me to call him back within the next week or two if I still have any problems. You can tell these guys really know their stuff and are really nice to talk to. I recommend them. more

I would not reccomend this place to even my worst enemy! 8/4/2010

After the Asian couple, that owns the store, superfluously guaranteed me that they would be able to fix my computer's hard drive malfunction, I left the store with a positive feeling. At first I was worried because I noticed that the store was selling Norton Anti-Virus 2003 as new, up-to-date software for the immoderate price of 49.95 plus tax. But these apprehensions faded and I left the store on a good note. The next day, the husband called me and asked for the specifics about my computer. Myself, not a computer expert, had to google all the pertinent information. I was a bit annoyed that it was my responsibility to ""self-research"" my own computer, but that feeling passed as the gentlemen treated me with utmost respect and thanked me for my time. Time passed and time passed. It was almost two weeks before I heard from anyone again. The wife called my cellphone late on Sunday night saying that my computer was ready to picked up at my convenience. In the background of the message, I heard a man yelling obscenities (her husband?). I was flabbergasted when I listened to the message, but didn't think much of it, being thankful that my computer was finally ready. I came in the next morning to find the wife with bloodshot eyes, as if she had been up all night crying. I asked her if she was okay and she assured me that everything was fine. She went in the back of the store to get my computer and declared that my bill was $230. I thought this price was a bit steep considering that during the ""self-research"" I preformed, I view that the typical repair job cost within the ballpark of 50-150 dollars depending on the severity of the malfunction. I did not hesitate to pay the bill because I just wanted my computer back and I figured this poor woman had already been though enough. Much to my surprise, when I took the computer home it did not work. The exact same blue-screen came up when I rebooted the computer adducing that their is a hard drive error. I will never go there again and wholeheartedly recommend that you never step foot in this store. more
