Bridgeway Christian Village

This place is horrible! I disagree with another review that said they were uneducated. They are very well educated and very compitent. The problem comes in that they are extremely overworked and treated like crap by the ADON and the DONs. The staff is literally harassed and forced to either work beyond their means or forced to leave. No matter how many times the staff tells the scheduling team ""No, I'm to tired"" it doesn't matter. They are so understaffed they need the help and the care of the residents is overlooked unless the resident is lucky enough to have family that is there regularly. I wouldn't put my dead dog there and not just because of the CNAs. They are great! It's because of the unprofessional management, or lack there of! more

For what you pay in comparison to other nursing homes (the facility is not cheap, but is AFFORDABLE) & the HIGH LEVEL of QUALITY CARE you receive, I cannot recommend this place enough. The only reason my review is one star short of stellar, is because I don't have another point of reference as far as nursing homes go. My 95-year-old grandmother was admitted to their Short Term Rehabilitation Clinic & received nothing but excellent and compassionate care from the WELL-qualified, WELL-educated, OVERworked and UNDERpaid nursing staff. The facility is highly-maintained--there was never a day, in which the Operations Management, i.e., housekeeping, maintenance, were not working hard. The facilities always had ongoing events, activities, church services twice a week for the residents. What more could anyone ask for, if one was seeking to have a loved one cared for? more

I used to work for bridgeway as a CNA. I dont know who the caregiver was, or who the nurses were, but there are great staff there, and as for un- F***ing educated... Now ur blowing smoke out of you butt... if anything happens to a patient, we are put threw in services to educate us on what the proper technique is. Throw your mother in a chicago nursing then you will see what neglected and abused is! Because surely you have no idea lady! more

If you want your loved one mistreated and abused then put them in Bridgeway Christian Village in Bensenville Il. I made the terrible mistake of putting my poor mother there. The place is beautiful but the lack and neglect of nursing care is inexcusable. I was there everyday twice a day the minute I left my mother was abused! Terrible place and to this day I feel so guilty. I pulled my mom out of there but it was to late the damage was done. The D.O.N. lied to make her uneducated nursing staff look creditable. I found out they lied to the doctors regarding my mother. That information was from a medical director on staff there. My mom was affected terribly by the abuse and neglect at Bridgeway Christain Village in Benesville. I also seen first hand nurses mistreat other patients. When I spoke out about it they again covered each track. I am hoping anyone who reads this in hopes of a review they please go in another direction to put their loved one!!!!!! I wish I could stand in front of the building daily to let people know how terrible the care is there. Please take this review into strong consideration. This was 2010 and it is still current. Please look for another place for your loved one. more
