cool place,great atmosphere 7/29/2004

b & t has a great atmosphere for something in queens. drinks are affordable and are of good quality. The bouncers are strict and have a little of an attitude. If you are looking ofr something in queens with city style, you might want to check this out. more

Place has potential to be great 7/9/2004

As someone who lives in Queens and wants to enjoy a nice night out, but doesn't want to drive into the city, Bridge & Tunnel may seem like a blessing--but it's actually a blessing in disguise. The good: the place looks GREAT, place is real clean, the drinks are GREAT, the prices are fair, parking is convenient. The bad: bouncers are rude, music is outdated, bartenders aren't pro-active (you have to call them over if you want help), and the worst part: the same 3 or 4 guys who are always there, sitting at the corner of the bar, are total jerks. They don't move out of the way for you if you need the bathroom and they give unfriendly stares-just a total negative vibe. For some, that is reason enough not to go back. The place has potential, but the unfriendly atmosphere has to change. Pros: Clean, Good Drinks, Price Cons: , Rude Bouncers, Bad Music more

I love this place~! 6/29/2004

There was no cover until recently (it's only $5 though) - I went Fri 6/11. Music is so dance-able that even without a dance floor, I can still do it up. It's been uncrowded (few or none people on the sofas; all the ppl were at the bar) all 3 times that I've gone. It's good compared to some lounges in the city, like Home, cuz dancing at B & T, I don't get elbowed or have to stop every 5 mins to let ppl thru. Pros: Good music, Easy to find parking, Inexpensive Cons: , No dance floor more

Great Queens Spot 6/12/2004

If you're looking for a hip place to hang in Queens, there's nothing better than B&T. Best vibe in Queens by far. DJ plays good music and there is plenty of room to dance. Everyone there is chill and just out to have a good time. Don't come here if you're looking for a crazy, hectic, pick-up scene. Come here to drink, relax and maybe dance the night away. Pros: Great prices, Good music, Nice mix of people more

City style 12/18/2003

b&t is pretty cools.. went there last Thurs and again on Sat with some friends.. brings that manhattan style to Queens.. near st john's university.. Music was good i gotta say.. the dj's there played mostly hip hop but also house.. On Thurs, they got this tandem of two dj's that spin pretty good..think they were called yellowbuddha team or something.. quite friendly.. it reminds me of that bar in the city, Bob's.. Nice atmosphere inside, a bit small but still okays.. friendly staff, drinks are pretty cheap and on Thurs, it's ladies night and they get free drinks..hope this was helpful people.. Pros: music, cheap drinks, atmosphere Cons: a bit small more

Good Music 11/10/2003

The same manhattan lounge experience is now in Queens! I went three times this month.. Music was great.. They have a live DJ there spinning some good hip hop.. Place is a bit small but people still tend to dance in the back area which is cool.. Drinks prices are great! Definitely recommended! Pros: Music, Drink Prices, Parking Cons: A tad small more

queens in da hizzouse 10/25/2003

you saw it here first--there's now a bar in queens called ""bridge and tunnel"". the name of the place is obviously a tongue-in-cheek reference to the derogatory term by which many manhattanites refer to the good folks of the outer boroughs/suburbs of new york city--even if those manhattanites aren't ""real"" new yorkers, but rather ""new"" new yorkers who didn't grow up here and have only lived in the city since college or afterward. funny how a lot of these pretentious, deluded fools believe that ""the city"" only refers to manhattan, while simultaneously dismissing people from queens/brooklyn/bronx/staten-island/long-island/jersey/westchester as not being ""real"" new yorkers...please. anyhow, this bridge-and-tunnel place sounds pretty dope--any place that knows how to poke fun at itself is cool with me--even if it's out in queens. hey, considering that i live in manhattan, would i be the ""bridge-and-tunnel"" person if i were to visit this place? food for thought. Pros: not in manhattan, unpretentious , down-to-earth folks Cons: difficult to get to , if you don't live in , queens more
