Buyer Beware!! Do all of your research prior to buying. I personally will never set foot in this place again. Even to pick up the gown I ordered yesterday. They won't let me cancel!! My experience with the sales staff was not at all like the previous reviews. I was treated well and felt very comfortable with the staff. The one young lady was new at the store and needed very little assistance from the other two sales people one of which is the “store manager”. I wanted to sleep on this decision and look at the dress on the internet. I was told I would not be able to find my dress online because it was a “private collection” so I decided to go ahead and buy the dress. Well that was my first mistake. As soon as I got home, funny thing, not only did I find the dress, I found it for $188 less plus some additional expenses that I was charged for, a total of $355. I spoke with the manager first thing this morning and told her what I found. She stated that the sale price was for a specific size and that it was a sample gown. I told her I would call the company and find out what the story was. Shouldn’t she have done this? Well guess what, I can order any size of this dress for the sale price. And called her back to tell her. She wouldn’t answer the phone so I emailed her this information. She had told me it didn’t matter because I agree to pay that amount for the dress. The story just goes down hill from here!! Please note that their web site specifically says “lowest prices guaranteed” I’m so disappointed in this company. The manager won’t provide me with the owners name and number, which now I suspect that she is the owner. DON’T GO HERE!! I’m going to take this matter as far as I can legally and through the various internet channels to see that others don’t get taken advantage of like I was. Now I’m very concerned that I won’t even have a dress in September. I’m sure she’ll come up with away to sabotage my dress. If I could afford to walk away from $500 I would. As I’m typing this review, my fiancé has gone to the store and spoke with the manager. She agreed to give us $121 credit. What happens to the rest of the money I’m out? AMAZING EXPERIENCE! They have the best service and best prices! I've been searching for a bridal shop that would accomidate me. I have been looking for a gown for some time now. I scheduled an appointment with Bridal Designs. The sales staff was so kind and helpful. Unlike some shops tried to put the dresses I didn't like on me, the staff in Bridal Designes was the only one really listened. I purchasd my wedding gown and bridemaids dresses at Bridal Designs. To top it off their in house alterations made me feel very safe about my dress. The alterations were outstanding and i reccomend them to anyone looking for great service. more

Bridal Designs is one of 6 bridal stores I recently visited in DFW. Looking, of course, for a the perfect wedding gown. After the treatment I received at Bridal Designs, I would *never* consider purchasing a dress from them, nor recommend the store to another person. My friends, who accompanied me to help me find my dress, were rudely told not to touch the wedding dresses. I was also told that friends-of-the-bride were not allowed to pick dresses for the bride. After selecting several dresses to try on, the staff of the store told me I could not continue looking at more dresses, and that I already had too many to try on. I was asked my budget, and told I could not try on dresses outside of my budget. The consultant who helped me was inefficient, and lacked knowledge of the products. She could not, for example, tell me the materials that dresses were made out of. After 45 minutes, my consultant told me her next appointment was in, and that if I wanted to try on anything else I would have to schedule another appointment at a later time. My overall experience at Bridal Designs was horrific. These are people with huge egos, terrible customer service skills, poor knowledge base, and shameful manners. Pros: None. Same dresses elsewhere! This store is by far the worst bridal store in DFW. How they are still in business is beyond me. Please listen to me.This is the worst bridal shop in Austin. Why would anyone want to deal with snooty salespeople during this happy time in our lives? My saleslady was so rude to my mom and I, we couldnt even enjoy the experience. We felt rushed and talked down upon, and why? We were there for a good experience, what we got was my dream wedding dress....elsewhere. Avoid it like the plague. Pros: NON!!! All my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from Bridal Designs. They were beautiful and reasonably priced. They even offered a discount for the dresses! Several of my bridemaids live out of state, the order process for them was handled very smoothly and professionally. Bridal Designs updated me the ordering progress and made sure the orders placed in time. The dresses came in earlier than the estimated date. We were very happy with the our dresses and service. I had very wonderful experience buying my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses and renting Tuxedos from Bridal Designs. It is a true one-stop shop place. The ordered dresses all arrived on time. My bridesmaids and groomsmen all got reward discounts with my gown purchase. Also, the prices of the Tuxedo rental was better than the ones in other men's formal wear. The tuxedo rental prices are very straight forward, don't have complicated add-on stuffs. Most of all, the styles are really updated and great brands. There are so many colors options to choose from for the vests and ties. I would recommend them to everyone! Pros: Professional and personal, reasonable priced dresses and Tux Cons: None more

I found my wedding dress at bridal designs. After trying a lot of dresses, the consultant suggested me to try on a dress and I fell in love with it. The dress was ordered professionally and my alteration fitting went very well. The dress fitted me perfectly. I also had my dress pressed there a few days before my wedding. The staff was friendly and professional. Pros: Great service and the price was very affordable for the quality Cons: None more

i've visited this shop twice. the first to shop for a wedding dress, and the second with my sister in search of a prom dress. and on both occassions, i was briefly greeted by a salesperson. and from then on, i felt like the three employees there had better things to do then assist me any further. to top it off, on both visits, it was a weekday, and i was the only customer in the store. don't waste your time, if you're planning on spending $$$ on a dress, find a shop with employees that's willing to work for their commission. more

I found THE dress at Bridal Designs. They have great seclections, great sevice and resonable prices! The consulant was very knowledgable and personal. My wedding dress arrived a couple of weeks early. The store made an exception for me and store my dress a little longer, so I was able to try it on and get alteration fitting during my spring break. I picked up my dress, the alteration was perfect. Also, all my bridesmaids ordered dresses there. They kept updating me the order status and made sure all my bridesmaids send in their orders in time. And the bridesmaid dresses all arrived on time. I am very pleased with my entire experience and would highly recommend Bridal Designs to anyone. Pros: Great Sections, Great Service, Resonable prices. Let me just say that after my experience at this shop... Save yourself sometime and DON'T GO THERE!! UNPROFESSIONAL!! Emotions are high when a bride is planning her wedding. Those who work in the Bridal industry know that. You don't talk down to your customers!! That would be called... PROFESSIONALISM 101. The reason why there prices are so cheap is because nobody ever goes to that store due to their lack of respect for there customers!! So they assume all because you have cheaper prices... more people will come!! Let it be a lesson learn... DON'T GO THERE unless you want to be disrespected and insulted!! more

Horrible experience. Do not even think about giving them any of your time or money. Your wedding day is supposed to be a day to remember, not a day to forget. Take your business else where! more

Yes their prices may be reasonable, but their service is horrible! The owner had my bridal gown for the past month and a half and "claims" that she called and left me a message to pick it up. If I hadn't picked it up or called within the next week, wouldn't you think I didn't receive the message? Obviously not. And to top it off she's been holding my bridesmaids dresses (which need to be altered) for the past 2 weeks!!! And also another claim that they had left me a message. I just don't understand how a supposived "Bridal Shop" can be so IRRESPONIBLE!!! Especially when they know, I live out of town and that half of my bridesmaids live out of town! DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!! You may experience the same thing. more
