I bought a groupon for this hotel after reading the reviews which were all good! We were nervous when we pulled in for two reasons, it is on the edge where OKC goes from good to a bit scary, also the outside was nothing to brag about. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got inside and saw how nicely it had been updated. We are accustomed to staying at nicer hotels and this one was better than we expected. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was recently updated, no chipped counters or rusty bathtub like the outside made us suspect we would find. The final selling point was the shuttle. We took amtrak up from Fort worth and it was wonderful to have the shuttle to help us get around. more

By the looks of this place from the outside and the location by a Waffle House and two truck stops, you wouldn't expect it to be so nice on the inside. The room was very clean and had a nice bed, a big flat screen tv with lots of cable channels and a really nice shower. As nice as hotels for twice the price in the same general area. Breakfast was certainly adequate (what do you expect for a steal of a nightly rate?). The shuttle drivers were awesome and just made me feel like I was the most important person in OKC. Front desk staff was very nice too and gave me pointers on where to go for a run (you don't want to head down MLK from the sounds of it, but otherwise the neighborhood is okay). \r I am a fan of places like this, great price and awesome service with a clean room with everything you need + breakfast---i'll be back.. more

This is by far the most friendly, well run and best bargain in Oklahoma City! Pet friendly, a great shuttle service, warm and professional staff and terrific location are only a few of the reasons that I would recommend staying at the Bricktown Hotel and Convention Center. more

the right place 3/6/2013

For our anniversary I had just given birth to a new baby girl and my husband made secret arrangements for the care and to take me away for the night. We pulled into the Hotel and I said I gave you a daughter and you gave me this? We went ahead and went in and instantly we knew we were at the right place. The instant feeling of welcomeness was met by the great staff. Misty and Sheila thank you for making my anniversary special and to their amazing shuttle drivers. Who would have thought a FREE SHUTTLE to Bricktown - no parking hasstles just nothing but personal service. AMAZED.. more

I am a business traveler and I spend 2/28/2013

I am a business traveler and I spend over two thirds of each year traveling around the country. When I am in OKC I would not dream of staying anywhere else but the Bricktown Hotel. Some of the factors that keep me coming back are as follows.\r \r 1) The excellent service. All the staff is so helpful and friendly and they make me feel like family.\r 2) the ridiculously affordable price for what I get, is what keeps me coming back. $75-125 per night depending on events and time of year.\r 3) The close proximity to everything that OKC has to offer. Approximately 1 mile to brick town, and the boat house district, and O.U. med center, and all the other stuff that’s going on.\r 4) No one else in town offers the free shuttle to anywhere, which I found to be a surprisingly big deal. Sometimes I don’t even rent a car because they pick me up from the airport and shuttle me anywhere I want to go. It’s very nice!\r 5) The cleanliness of the facility is second to none.\r 6) The large rooms with very comfortable furniture.\r 7) They have very nice breakfast.\r 8) VALUE, VAULE, VALUE, FOR THE BUCK……….CLEAN……..FAMILY & PET FRIENDY………VALUE !!\r \r You know , I never take the time to write reviews , but I simply felt compelled to do this because it’s nice to see a business that cares so much about their customers. I bet this place is a family owned & run business( where the owner is always present) because it’s obvious that their business model is value, affordability, and customer satisfaction before company profits. THEY DON’T SKIMP. more

If your visiting OKC and are looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. Now the appearance may not be appealing as some of the other big chain hotels but the inside and staff make up for it. The owner is very friendly and wants to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You will see him when you visit the hotel, don't be afraid to introduce yourself...he's a very nice guy. From the front desk personnel to the housekeepers even to the shuttle drivers...the entire staff is friendly. They definitely make you feel at home there and welcomed. The rooms are nice and the inside is very well kept. Good value for your money! And the best part, they have a shuttle that will take you anywhere in Bricktown and Midtown anytime. They will even pick you up when you call them, now how many hotels do that?? more

We only stayed here one night and arrived too late to make the most of the free shuttle, but the hotel itself was very smart, very clean, and had the biggest bed of our whole Route 66 trip. Wish we had longer here but have nothing but compliments for the hotel and staff. more

For those that are worried that it is not down town Oklahoma City, do not worry, because after the sun goes down Oklahoma City is empty and all the night life is out at Bricktown. more

The outside was kinda scary upon arrival... but the inside was very clean, and the staff very nice and eager to help. Our room was simple, but remember it was clean. I have stayed at more expensive hotels that were not that clean. The breakfast area was very roomy, and staff there to make the waffles. The shuttle is a BIG PLUS!!! not having to fight traffic, and front door arrival was very nice. The drivers were nice, and suggested good places to eat. more

had a great time their room was clean had a nonsmoking room for one night and a smoking room for two i changed it to the nonsmoking room after i found out the rooms on the first floor had a sliding glass door you can walk right out side and smoke and they have chairs out side right by your door, loved that big time , will be going back . free shuttle was great and location is great. more

We only stayed on night, but the location was convenient and the room was comfortble and convenient. Breakfast was handy. The pool wasn't open yet, but it was a cool weekend. Price was good. Would recommend the hotel if you're headed to the Berkshires. more

I was Not disappointed that this hotel was not in the heart of Bricktown. After a fun and exciting evening at Bricktown, I called for the shuttle the hotel offered for pickup. The driver was very nice and patient. When we got back to the hotel it was nice to have a quite and comfortable place to be at. I could not imagine how loud the rooms must be staying right in the heart of Bricktown. I must commend the staff at our hotel. The night manager went above and beyond duty to help me find a OK Thunder t-shirt. With it being Sunday morning not many sport stores were open, but he knew of one..called to confirm they were open..and personally took us to the store!! A big thank you to your hotel and hospitality. Yes I would recommend others to stay there! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/11/2012

This is a large convention centre hotel, which was very quiet the night we stayed there. Our room was large and bright, but the door lock seemed a bit rickety. Hotel located slightly out of town, but convenient 24-hr free shuttle meant this wasn't a problem, and Bricktown bars and restaurants were easily accessible. Ample parking and good WiFi connection. There's an outdoor pool, which we didn't use as it was still a bit chilly in April! Staff were very pleasant. Complimentary breakfast was fine, usual spread. We would have preferred to have stayed downtown, but this option halved the cost. I would consider staying here again. more

Do NOT let outside exterior scare your off!! My daughter and I came to OKC for a mom and daughter celebration day. This hotel is one of the best hotels for the price. We were treated like royalty. The staff and owner went out of their way to make our one day and night one to remember. We arrived and Misty helped us plan our activities, she was great! The free transportation was wonderful and helpful. The driver HL went out of his way to shows us the Christmas lights around Bricktown, he even slowed down to let us enjoy them. HL was a top notch driver!! Even after we checked out of the hotel, the staff drove us to Bricktown so we could enjoy lunch and then picked us up and drove us to the Civic Center so we could enjoy the Nut Cracker!!! WOW!!! How many hotels would do that?!? The transportation was quick and organized. The breakfast was good and the staff made sure you had enough to choose from. I would high recommend this hotel. more

We stayed here for one night in april this year. The hotel is about 2 miles from bricktown but can be reached by a free shuttle the hotel provide. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Free wifi serves the whole hotel and laundry services are available. Next door to the hotel is a large truck stop with lots of food and drink options. more
