Bricco is one of the rare restaurants in the North End that strays from traditional Italian cuisine successfully. The chefs ability to create "nouveau" Italian dishes and experiment with new flavors is a rarity for Boston. The cuisine is a culinary delight though, and has become an institution in this classical Italian neighborhood.
The service at Bricco is not the best, but okay. It is often busy and the servers have some difficulties seating people in the most effifcient way. They also tend to be a little snooty in this establishment.
