Brewberry's: Heartbeat of the neighborhood 3/14/2009

Funky, family, neighborhood, great ice cream in summer, unsurpassed hot chocolate in winter, source of the energy of the 'hood. Promotes charity and community events and Jen, owner, never let's up on filling the mission. Join in and you will be hooked. Pros: Friendly, independent, great products Cons: Has to share a corner with corporate Caribou more

Favorite place for the best teas around 2/21/2009

This is a real FIND! It's kid friendly and has the best tea selection around. I never miss a chance to go when I am in this part of the country. It's a jewel of a place that shouldn't be missed. Friendly staff and a great place to unwind during a hectic day. Don't miss it!!! more

A truly friendly coffee place.. 2/17/2009

Reminds me of the ""old days"" where all were welcome and made to feel part of the neighborhood. Happy atmosphere which they all enjoy sharing with others. And, of course, tasty food and the best coffee. See you there. OK? more

Great tea too 2/17/2009

I am a tea drinker and it is so hard to find a place where you can get good tea. Brewberry's always has good iced tea in the summer and variety in their hot teas. The new mate tea latte is very exciting with antioxidants in a fresh unique white tea. I never tasted anything like it. Brewberry's is a great place to relax, get a bite to eat and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. They have the best ice cream I've ever had. I recommend the chocolate! Can't wait for spring. Pros: Friendly, wide variety, fresh sandwiches Cons: Sometimes parking is an issue but there is plenty of street parking around. more

My FAVORITE Coffeehouse 2/17/2009

I travel for a living (very hectic) stopping at Brewberrys on the way to the airport has made my travel experience much more enjoyable. Their premium coffee drinks are unparalled ( all natural milk always, best espresso anywhere). They have the best and I deserve the best...a perfect combination!\r \r Also, if you have looked everywhere for the perfect travel coffee mug (as I have) look no further, Brewberrys has it...coffee stays hot and NEVER spills Pros: thumbs way up Cons: can't think of any reason not to go more

Locally-Owned: Not a Foreigner Like Caribou 2/17/2009

I am so impressed with the feeling of ""neighborhood"" that has evolved at Brewberry's under Jan and now Jen and Lou. Not only is the product always great but the genuine sincerity of the committment of this business to the welfare of the neighborhood is something I am truly proud of as a customer. Everyone knows that Caribou Coffee moved into the space across the street as an attempt to cannibalize and profiteer off of the success that Jan had achieved. Just another greedy corporation, only in this case Caribou is not even ""Minnesota"" in that it is owned primarily by middle-eastern oil interests. I hope that the people of St. Paul continue to stand by and reward the wonderful, little neighborhood coffee shop that we are so proud of. Pros: committment to excellence and friendliness, summer ice cream Cons: sometimes the line is a little long at rush time more
