Great Salads for lunch 3/29/2006

I believe that Brew Moon is one of those good restaurants that people just seem to forget about. I enjoy the food there. They are always updating their menu. I enjoy the spinach salad with deep fried calamari for lunch. Their burgers are also good. The beers are good – I especially enjoy the red lager. Dinners there are a bit pricy for the quality of food. Try having an assortment of pupus for dinner. Finally, if you make a reservation, they try to give you a table by the window overlooking Ala Moana Park. more

Brew Moon is well-designed restaurant located in Ward Center. I really enjoy to sit outside on the terrace area. The food is prefect. i like thier chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, chicken curry, barbecue ribs, and Chef Glick’s jambalaya. the band and entertainment varies from Hawaiian, Jazz, to R&B depending on the day and time. Please call the restaurant to find out thier schedule. They also have happy hours called "Zero Gravity" ( t think) begine from 3 to 7pm. Open Hour: 11am-10pm, bar to 2am. Plenty parking available! Gravity Hour is the best 10/5/2005

Brew Moon is a classy restaurant and their brewery offers a few good beers (although it does not compare to Gordon Biersch quality). Their food, esp. the pupus are very good. Beer crackers are a must with your beer. Their ahi poke platter is one of the best I've had. It is pricey but well worth it. Their other foods, NY Steak and pasta dishes are not as well prepared. I have to say that they need a little bit of work on this. Sometimes it can taste too bland and sometimes too salty. The waiters, however, are more than happy to replace it for you. Brew Moon also offers a Comedy show featuring Lanai and Augie on Wednesday nights. more

Wonderful Atmosphere 9/9/2005

This is a great place to bring friends and out of town visitors. I like to try out their homemade beers that are made at their microbrewery. The menu includes fabulous island salads and entrees. They have a wonderful bar that serves everything from mixed drinks to pupus. The live entertainment is awesome. more

Brew Moon is a great restuarant because of the atmosphere. It is classy, fun and laidback all in one. The food is really good, although it is a little expensive. So this is the type of place I would recommend for a nice lunch. They have awesome apple martini's as well. They have their own line of beer, which is nice. Some nights, Brew Moon turns into a club with a live band or DJ. I have only had the chance to go there once when the band was playing and it was such a fun time. This is a great place, check it out! more
