Bremerton Health and Rehab has taken an active role in the community by sponsoring the Bremerton Senior Center's monthly lunches, 9-ball pool tournement, Alzeheimer's Association walk, Senior Games of Kitsap County, and many other senior and family oriented events. more

BHRC and now the Cove are amazing. We are making movements from being reactive to care (waiting for a problem) to proactive care (looking for concerns.) It's so different and forwarding thinking. Everything from the removal of the 5 day work week, brining in a massuese or getting a free appointment with the beautician upon arrival. There is a team approach to everything. No one says ""I can't"" we all say ""Sure, we can figure anything out!"" That is progress. Our building might be beautifully outfitted with all new therapy equipment, beds and furniture - but is the people that make the difference and the care they provide. more

My grandma was a resident at Bremerton Health and Rehab. She was very happy there, the staff we very friendly and informative and took very good care of her. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needed skilled nursing, weather for a short stay for rehab, or long stay for medical needs. more

I would like to know how this place,and for that matter many nursing facilities rank four stars? I have been a nurse for 24 years.,and I can count on on hand the places I would allow any family member to reside. And may I say this is not one of them. I could expand on why but would take more than a few paragraphs. Let me just say this You should not place the elderly among people who have chemical dependency issues,and may I further say you cannot defer people that have developing problems that occur on Tuesday ie; Resp distress,elevated temp,N/V and leave it to the unfortunate nurse working 11-7 on a Friday who then has the problem and has to Contact the MD @1:00Am and send the person to the Hospital. this happens at many places not frequently but it does happen. Pros: Proximity to Hospital Cons: Understaffed,Too many residents requiring staff focus on MH/D&A issues,Admin staff not accessable to nursing staff.Parking not always available more
