Best

First off, this place makes a good cup of coffee, which is just the first thing telling you you've made the right decision to eat at Bread Winners. I had a southwest-inspired egg...

Worst

I had ordered some pastries that cost a bit of money only to get under cooked tasteless dough. Not going back Pros: Nothing Cons: expensive undercooked dough.

Living off their reputation 3/23/2006

I've eaten at Bread Winners many times since I moved to Dallas 20 years ago. My first visits were exceptional but my most recent experiences (breakfast and lunch) have not been so. It appears that the restaurant now lives off of the reputation it developed earlier. The food was very average and seemed to be have been pre-prepared, i.e., sitting in a warmer for an extended period. Pros: Coffee, Bread variety Cons: Food Quality more

Great Niche in Uptown Downtown Dallas 4/22/2005

The french quarter ambiance provided a casual yet elegant backdrop to the meal, a very nice place to get together with friends. Different varieties of bread are brought to the table, approximately 5 variations in all to tantalize the diner's tastebuds. The meal I enjoyed was presented well. Impressed with the quality of the incredients, it contributed to my eating experience at BWC. Prices are relatively reasonable. I'd say 10 to 15 dollars a person at any time. In many respects, the hospitality was good at BWC. My only concern would be in regards to my waiter, who's name I can't recall. Hospitality is equally important to efficiency in the restuarant business. Pros: Great Ambiance, Fast Service, Reasonable Price Cons: Parking, N/A, N/A more

fun for brunch 3/8/2005

We sat out on the patio and watched the people traffic. It was nice. The parking behind the restaurant fills up, but there is street parking nearby. I recommend going a little early to avoid waiting in line. But, the line moves relatively fast if you have to wait. more
