I have purchased equipment from this store and I have also had repairs as well. My fist repair was done in 1992, in all those years I have never heard anyone say they did not do a good job. Overall I would say that this is the best small engine, lawnmower chain saw repair shop in Richmond. All of there repairs meet all of the safety requirements that were originally with he equipment. Always wear hearing protection !!! Always wear eye protection !! Even if it doesn't look Cool ! Even you are to frigging lazy to find it or buy it! more

I feel like I need to write to respond to the first poster - I don't argue with the poster's comments - It's just that I have never had that type of experience in the 10+ years that I have been dealing with these folks. I have a Simplicity riding mover and a Stihl chainsaw and leaf blower from these folks. They pick my mower up , service it and deliver it back each year. They handle any of my other service requests reasonably quickly and cheerfully. I get phone calls from Mrs. Bradshaw advising me of what they find during the service and to schedule the pickups and deliveries. I have never had an issue with them, nor have I heard anyone else having an issue while I have been in their store. These folks have worked that business all of their lives and now have elected to close for an hour at lunch so that they can get lunch together without one of the two of them trying to provide full service in the store - God bless them. I would ask the first poster to go to Lowes or Home Depot and see how far their their attitude gets them there. First of all, they close the store for an hour every day in the middle of the day FOR LUNCH - I am sure that customers stop by all the time only to find that they are ""out to lunch"". How hard could it be to go to lunch in shifts so as not to inconvenience any customers. \r \r Secondly - the lady that works the counter is flat out rude. She has a HORRIBLE attitude. I have heard other customers complain of this. When I left after picking up my lawn mower - I said, ""Thank you so much"". NO RESPONSE. My wife was with me and asked a question about a tiller they had displayed and the lady acted like she was being bothered to answer any questions.
