I was so impressed with the mission statement by the group and each individual that I became convinced that these were people that could be committed to helping me. However, their policy is to deny any acceptance to any person who has worker's compensation outright - without any investigation,discussion or consideration. This is discrimination, when they have no idea if I even have a physician who is treating me.
I thought it might be money - but since my carrier is required by law to pay for the care I need, and they did not allow me to inform them of the facts (and in my experience, they do not believe me when I do so).
What offends me the most is the pleasant openness and willingness for me to come in to sign up for their practice as a patient -, until - and only until - I mentioned I also have a worker's compensation situation. It changed immediately.
There was no consideration for my health, or to review my situation and my coverage - it was a fast, immediate turn down and a rude direction to stick with my original Doctor - which would no longer be possible. I did not intentionally have this accident, I pay for many things that worker's compensation will not, and I have an attorney that will assist me in any way. I think their ""mission statements"" are contrived as far as being open to helping ""anyone who needs help""
Pros: Excellent Local Reputation, Ideal place for a well patient
