is a great place for anyone. They have a huge selection on the menu from burgers to steak to even fajitas. I love their salad bar and fried pickles! Oh, amd there fried dinner rolls....Yum!\r \r The service can be a little slow but we just don't go there if we are in a hurry. I have had a couple of rude servers but I believe that can happen anywhere.\r \r The prices are reasonable and I would certainly recommend them. more

I like the Claremont Boxcar better 10/14/2008

The Boxcar Grille in Statesville is good, but the original one in Claremont is much better and busier. We were in the Statesville restaurant a couple of weeks ago on a Sat evening and there was barely anyone in the place, the waitress was nice, but hung out at our table forever in which I did not like!! They were also out of alot of items on the menu. more
