Unauthorized Charges to my CC 5/6/2008

My bill came and was $40.99 for the evening, I signed and tipped the waiter. I see looking at my credit card account online that there was a second separate charge from Splitz for $50.00. I NEVER signed for this amount. Food we did buy was average (fried, fried, fried) at BEST. Poor service from lane wait staff. Would not go here again. Pricey, but nice 1/18/2008

As you can see from other reviews, Splitz is definitely pricey. It is $27.50 for a lane for one hour; $32.50 for one hour from 9 p.m.-close on weekends. $4.50 shoe rental (they give you socks with a bowling logo to keep). They also have per-game rates, but I don't think those prices are posted as visibly. If you only have 2-3 people in your party, you should probably pay by the game; paying by the hour is good for more people, as the cost allows up to 6 people per lane/hour. more

MY COMPANY HAD IT'S CORPORATE PARTY THERE....THE ""ROAST BEEF"" WAS BETTER SUITED TO LINE THE SOULS OF YOUR SHOES......THE CHICKEN REEKED OF SUGAR, ENOUGH TO SEND A DIABETIC INTO A COMA.......SALAD DRESSINGS ARE THE WORST GENERIC IN A CAN YOU CAN FIND....AT $17.50 A PERSON???!!!??? Highway Robbery 10/17/2007

We dropped my 12 year old son and a friend off recently to bowl at Splitz. They called us just over an hour later to come pick them up because they had spent all the money they had. We were shocked to hear that it cost them almost $40 (of their own hard-earned money) for the two of them to bowl for just an hour. $27.50 for a lane for an hour? You've got to be kidding. Plus $5 each for shoe rental. We will never go there again and will certainly warn all of our friends about these ridiculous fees. Their advertised special lighting and sound effects are hardly worth the price. Pros: NA Cons: Outrageous cost more
