i took 4 dresses and a shirt in on a thursday of a long weekend and asked to have it ready for saturday as i had a few social functions over the weekend. the tickets said they would all be ready for pickup on friday. when i went in on saturday my dresses remained back at the ""plant"" and no one had a key to go get them. with the manager on the phone i was told there was nothing they could do for me. when i asked what am I supposed to wear to my function today I was told well the stores are still open you can always go and purchase a new dress. Really??? thats your customer service. the clerk then stated to me that i wouldnt have to pay for my cleaning, I replied with obviously. I was outraged. It was a long weekend and I had nothing to wear. I said so are you going to give me some money to go purchase these dressed you have suggested i buy? he laughed at me. Angry and not sure of what to do I left. on monday i went back to get my dresses. the clerk says to the manager oh are they even here yet. the manager says yes. when she returns to the front shes says to $25 credit seem fair??? i thought she meant towards my next bill, no she meant towards my $60 bill for clothes i went without all weekend, the purpose of having them cleaned. I said oh no i'm not paying for these. are you kidding me. she replies with well i cant give you $60 in dry cleaning for free, i said oh yes you can and you will. again, i reviewed how I did not have my dressess for the weekend. finally she hung them on the bar and said nothing. i took them and left. is this the way to run a business??? while waiting for the clerk to orignally try to figure out where my dresses were another gentlemen waiting to drop off his clothes said the same happened to him a few weeks ago and if they do the same again he's not returning, i said you came back??!!
