Best

I highly recommend Borash Veterinary Clinic to anyone that has a cat or dog in need of some really amazing care. The staff here are great.

I brought my dog to Borash for a couple of years for routine things, or so I thought was routine things. He constantly made a big deal about her ears needing to be flushed, her a...

Great Place for Pets & People 8/24/2010

Great service! I brought my cat there because she stopped eating, I was so happy with the prompt service I got for the appointment! I felt so bad for my cat but Dr Borash examined her and she found she had a terrible infection and her gums had grown over teeth - she needed to have several teeth out. I was relieved when she was purring and eating the next day! She got excellent care at a reasonable fee and the staff didn't seem to mind that she wasn't to happy to be there. more

Must Read!! 8/22/2010

Dr.Borash, is no doubt, the best on the North Shore. He is very up to date with veterinary medicine, and technique. Some may say he & his staff are rude, I don't think so,the most important thing to Dr. & staff is YOUR PET!! I think people get confused with totally focused, with rude. If your dog is having surgery would you want all focused with task on hand or talking with everyone. So much is going on behind the scenes, most don't have a clue They are all seasoned veterans.\r Talk with Dr. Borash & staff after hours you will understand\r just how dedicated everyone is. It's about your pet not your money. Do your pet a favor use Dr. Borash, you will not be disappointed. My dogs are my family and Borash Veterinary Clinic knows that.\r - TD more

Are we talking about the same place? 8/21/2010

Great place to take your animals to. Dr. Borash always has the time to answer your questions about your pet and will go out of his way to help you! The techs are always nice to my cats everytime I go in, even when one of them gives them a "hard" time ( and thats a understatement!) more

Best Care Anywhere 8/20/2010

Dr. Borash and his staff so obviously LOVE the animals that come to see them no matter what the circumstances. As far as him pushing bloodwork, it is no different than anyone going for a physical with your primary care doctor. He is very thorough and I'm glad he is. I know that when I bring my animals to him, they are in the best possible hands. I wouldn't bring them anywhere else. more

DONT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM 7/15/2010

this so called ANIMAL clinic should be shut down, the last thing they care about is your pet the only thing they are interested in is how much you are willing to spend they diagnoses your pet with things they DO NOT HAVE and ALWAYS recommend very pricey treatments and try to make you feel like a bad owner if you dont agree with them they will harass you with phone calls to schedule appointments and talk to you like you are an IDIOT the office staff is over the top rude they ignore you and are clearly aggrivated by any questions you might dare to ask them and when the VET is with your pet he spends as little time as he can in contact with the animal he has the vet techs do everything while the whole time he is telling you just how many life threatening things are wrong with your pet they are unethical unproffesional and overall dangerous to your pet your pocketbook and your COMMON SENSE Cons: RUDE STAFF, UNNECESSARY PROCEDURES FOR MONEY, INTIMIDATION more

Just popped in at night unexpected 4/13/2010

My 4 month old puppy had a nasty ear problem and did not have a vet yet. I called my vet that I have for my other dog and she told me she could not see her, she was to busy. I walked into Borash Vet at 8:00 at night and got exceptional treatment. They did not know me or my puppy, I just popped in unexpectedly. They tech assured me the puppy was not in pain and to return at 8:45 the next morning when Dr Borash could see her. He was exceptional, caring, explained everything, very thorough in his exam and the staff was great. more

Very caring for both patient and owner! 10/28/2009

I was new to the area and live within walking distance from Borash. I absolutely was heartbroken when I had to put down my cat of 15 years cappachino. I must say the staff was wonderfully caring. They gave me the time I needed to say good-bye and let me stay with her so she knew she was loved. I got a pet sympathy card in the mail signed by all the people in the office and that really impressed me. If I ever need the services again this is one clinic I would highly recommend. more

Excellent service and friendly staff 7/30/2009

Dr. Borash is one of the best vets we've ever encountered. He went out of his way to save our 11 year old Cocker Spaniel who suffers from Diabetes and Cushings disease. She is now living well and is once again healthy and happy. Dr. Borash has also performed surgery on our dog and was very thorough in advising what will happen and what we could expect. He uses state of the art laser surgery that ensures our pet did not feel the pain as compared to normal surgery.\r \r His staff has always been warm, experienced, and loving to our dog, cat and birds. We travel 1 hour each way to see Dr. Borash, and his expertise is well worth the trip.\r Pros: Best vet for your animals more

Borash Bad for animals 6/27/2009

Relocated recently & looked into multiple vets for my dog and WRONGLY chose Borash. He overcharges; spreads out shots so you have to pay an office visit fee each time; doesn't return calls (although this may be due to his RUDE STAFF who can't seem to keep track of the messages left for the doctor); and POORLY interacts with dogs. During the most recent visit he purposely agitated my dog and continued by purposely escalating the situation. No one who cares about animals would ever do this. A caring, knowledgeable vet would soothe the animal. Like all other vets I've been to and heard of, sure his staff gave me a follow-up call after one of our visits. However Borash's staff called 3 times b/c nobody recorded a note in the chart that I'd already been called and spoken with. The doctor doesn't even remember (or at least glance at the chart to refresh his memory) any details of your pet. He asked me if my dog was neutered and continued by telling me he remembered neutering my pet when this was not true at all. I will NEVER return for veterinary services, nor board my dog there (which his own employee told me was not a good facility to board a dog), or board at Four Seasons Pet Resort, which Dr. Borash also owns. I should've paid more attention to people who had bad things to say about Borash after I told them I took my dog there. I am so sorry that my dog was subject to Borash's HARSH treatment. Cons: Poor business & animal practices more

the best place for ur animals 3/31/2009

i cannot say enough good things...i was referred to dr.borash.i was a 1st time dog owner when i started with him. he answered all my ""dumb"" questions i asked without judgement. My dog got very sick w/ glaucoma ..he and his staff were amazing! i was there 2x day for roughly a week for eye exams..took me befor the first patient and after the last patient...in and ot appts. my dog ended up having his eye removed and i was able to recover w/him in a private room..i feel as though he truely understands the bond between owners and patient . i will continue to and have recommended him to everyone! Pros: caring, personable, passionate about animals. more

I RECENTLY LOST A PET TO A NON RESPONSIBLE PERSON WHOM I ADOPTED HER OUT TO.AND WITH GREAT FORTUNE SHE WAS RESCUED BY THE BORASH CLINIC AND THEIR STAFF. ONE OF THE STAFF WAS EVER SO KIND ENOUGH TO FOSTER HER. THE CLINIC ,STAFF AND DR. BORASH WERE VERY KIND AND THOUGHTFUL. I WAS ABLE TO BE REUNITED WITH HER, AND I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF MY BABY. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE CLINIC AND WE WILL BE BACK TO VISIT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. more

Great Doctor and Staff! 10/8/2006

I would recommend this clinic to anyone. Dr. Borash is so thorough when it comes to the animlas and is always willing to help you out with the cost to make sure the animlas get what they need. The staff is proffesional, friendly and knowledgable. They really make you feel comfortable. Only downfall is the wait time. I recommend getting a morning apt or the first one of the afternoon to aviod waiting too long. more

Best vet clinic on the north shore 5/13/2006

The Borash Vet Clinic is amazing. The staff are all so passionate about animals, and everyone wants to do whatever they can to help your pets. Dr. Borash is so thorough and doesn't seem to miss a thing when you bring your pet in for an annual visit. They even offer boarding for animals if you have to go away. I definitely recommend them for anyone who cares about their pets. PROS: Passionate; Caring; Knowledgable; Thourough CONS: more
