This is not what you'd expect from an Aspen eatery, but it's great. Located on the second floor over (what else?) the Boogies Boutique, it has the feel of a happenin' 50's diner. And the food is pretty good. They also demonstrate some degree of health-consciousness; their menu states that their fried foods are done with Canola oil and that they use only lean meats. I went there for lunch on several occasions and found the sandwiches thick and hardy and the salads plentiful and very fresh. At lunchtime, the staff is pretty overworked, so you may have to flag someone down to clear off a table. Baby boomers will love the 50's paraphernalia on the wall--there's lots to see.
It's also one of the few places in Aspen that are kid-friendly.
