Decent education at a decent price 4/3/2006

At Boise State you don't have to be rich to get an education. There are a fairly good variety of classes, from "Mormons in the Media" to "Masculinities." As with many schools, most of the professors lean towards the liberal side, which is nice for people raised in this extremely conservative state. The only negative thing about BSU is that I wish it had a tri-mester system rather than a semester system, as it is nearly impossible to both work and finish your degree in four years. more

Nice Atmosphere 3/26/2006

BSU is a surprisingly good school. Classes generally are as challenging as you'd like them to be and there are a variety of programs available to meet the needs and desires of all the students. BSU also offers campus activities throughout the year. Recently BSU hosted a series of lectures for Women's History Month. The experience itself really has a lot to do with how much you put into it. If you are the sort of person who actively gets involved with your education, you will find the school exciting and challenging. more

Great College, lots of options! 8/8/2005

Is a big public university located smack dab in the center of Boise. With many classes to chose from Boise State offers a variety of majors in which you can graduate from. After my Freshman year of college I transferred to Boise State for the benefit of having a broader range of majors. Boise State has exceeded my needs for my college experience and at a very affordable price. more

A nice local university 7/31/2005

BSU is a nice local college. It has a lot to offer in ways of degrees and programs. You can do nursing, business, or art to name a few. They have nice computer labs that have Macs or Pc's. I have taken a few classes that I have really enjoyed. I particularly liked the Anatomy teacher I had. She was very down to earth and knowledgeable. It is nice to have a college in town. Why go away when you can get a good education right here. more
