Northwest Mechanical also known as Bobcat of Bemidji opened its doors in 1960. It was a partnership of 2 brothers Ben and Bill Nielsen. They were a Massey Ferguson dealer and a general mechanical service shop repairing farm and industrial equipment. In 1984 they became a Bobcat dealer selling and repairing skid-steer loaders. Since then the Bobcat line has grown to include track loaders, mini excavators, versa handlers, utility vehicles, and compact tractors. Bobcat of Bemidji is now owned by Ben and his son David and are the largest Bobcat dealer is northern Mn. Please browse through our site.
