The first time I went to Blue Mesa, I was expecting the traditional Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. The menu has many unique entrees that can only be described as "Southwestern". If you want a good opportunity to taste a variety of what Blue Mesa has to offer, go on Wednesday for lunch. For $10 you can have the buffet (which is a great deal, relatively speaking!). They also have a Sunday brunch buffet, which from what I hear is great! (Though I've never had it myself). Be sure to try some of the sweet potato chips while waiting on your order (they come along with the standard tortilla chips) -- very good.
