Highly reccommend 8/4/2004

I decided it was time to replace the 100-year old boiler and radiator system in my house with a modern forced air system. Not an easy or cheap undertaking. Blue Flame quoted me half as much for this project as the other bid I received, which was good enough for me. Their service was excellenet from every angle. Great communicators, excellent quality work, and did it all on time. They even demolished my cast iron boiler and removed it by ssmashing it up with sledge hammers (not something i wanted to do). If you are looking to do anything from installing a new hot water tank to installing an entire heating system, I could not recommend anyone better. 100% satisfied. more

  • After working for the gas company (currently Puget Sound Energy), Blue Flame owners Rodd Walker and Richard Vulliet ventured out to form their own heating companies.

    In 1994, Rich started Affordable Home Heating and Rodd formed Blue Flame Gas Service. In 2001, the two former Ballard High School classmates joined their businesses to form what Blue Flame is today.

    Blue Flame now employs close to 20 people with combined experience in the heating and air conditioning field of over 75 years. Rodd and Rich take their knowledge as service technicians and installers and pass it on directly to every employee.
