I planned to use blooms and heirlooms to do the flowers for my wedding, however I was disappointed with the interactions I had with them on the phone and ended up letting them keep my deposit but just ordering my flowers online and doing it myself. The problems were a few: first, I felt like they did not listen to my requests and instead they were quite opinionated and so it was hard to work with them long distance. Second, they spent a lot of time designing seat covers that I never asked for and then charged me for the labor time they spent on that in taking my deposit. Third, the labor they wanted to charge for for the wedding weekend was set at three women working a full day, no matter how much I ordered and this seemed like it should be dependent on the amount I ordered. When I asked for just a half day they refused. It felt like they were trying to get their normal income off of my wedding, but my wedding was small. Finally our last conversation was unprofessional.
