Blanchard's Tire & Auto Ctr

I own Mike's Music Studios and ride in a box 15' truck carrying music equipment, workers, and family. We had a blow-out in one of the rear tires and needed a tire to replace it. Dwayne at Blanchard's Suffolk Tires 309 W. Washington St. didn't have a tire in stock, so he searched in other places. He found a (P) passenger tire not sited for light trucks but failed to give that info to me. Cost $153.40 and the tire lasted 10 days before swelling and causing another blow out of the tire next to it. Needless to says all of us could have been killed. I brought the truck to Kramer Tires and they informed me of all the bad related to this type of error. I then brought back the new tire, the newly blown tire and the receipt back to Dwayne and requested a full refund. He was very rude, insulting, and lied and his lies in front of my crew and family who were all there when he sold me the tire. He refused to give me a refund until I told him I'd make a report to the police and my attorney. He agreed to the refund only if I give him the two tires and never step in his shop again. This sounded like a threat and I'd like to know if all your shops have people like so I can inform all my contacts from New York to Miami not to ever go to any of your businesses. I have pictures of the tires, and receipts and I will be forwarding them to my attorney and Suffolk officials. This a formal compliant and need your company to respond. ASAP. As a woman I feel comfortable going in to Blanchard's Tire & Service. I know that some women are intimidated by places like this, but Blanchard's is always very informative. I never have a problem getting taken care of. Even if I have to wait, they have a very nice waiting room. I also think they provide a service where they can drop you off and pick you up if they have a vehicle available. I have been using Blanchard's Tire for about 5 years, and the customer service is very nice. I tell women just to go by there and see the place. If they give you a quote and it is out of your price range they will work with you. They do the best they can to fit you in. I haven't had a problem with them turning me down. If they are really busy, they will get to me the next day at the latest. The service is really get in and get out. more

I have an automotive repair shop, and I buy tires from Blanchards Tire & Service for the shop. They deliver them to me. I have also used them personally one time. I went to Blanchards to have tires installed on my truck. They did an excellent job. The truck was clean when they were done. I would recommend them for that. more

I went to Blanchards Tire & Service right when they opened about 2 years ago. I was one of their first customers. Anytime I need them, they are great. The manager Jeff is the bomb. I really love their service. I tell people about them all the time. If I have a problem, but am pretty sure I can fix it myself, they will walk me through the steps over the phone of how to do it. If I end up needing to bring it in, they will help me with it right away. They aren't just in it for the money. The guys at Blanchard's Tire are really good guys, and they do a great job. If you go there, they are really going to take care of you and your vehicle. They are also going to tell you what is right for your vehicle, even if is a raggedy vehicle that needs a lot of repairs. I totally trust them; they tell me what is up with my car and how much it will cost ahead of time. more
