good food and atmosphere 4/26/2006

The Black Duck Grille is a local restaurant offering Classic American Cuisine. It is located in the Dallas Shopping Center, and offers a variety of very tastey items on their menu. The staff is polite, the atmosphere is nice, and the prices are fairly reasonable. I noticed on our last visit that they have a notice in the window that they are applying for a liquor license, so they may soon be offering more in way of beverages as well. more

Very good burgers. 9/20/2005

This is a small place tucked away in the Dallas Shopping Center. I only went for a snack one night and was mildly surprised. The dinner menu was interesting and different. Sadly, I can't review the dinners because I didn't go for one. I saw "Grill" in the title and wanted a burger, so that is what I got. It was an angus burger cooked to order. High quality stuff cooked correctly for once. Drinks were expensive for the area. Interior was intimate (some would even say romantic) and clean. I would not bring a child to this place. Menu was certainly more adult oriented. I would like to go back and sample a dinner some day. more
