A terrible disappointment. While the menu looks delicous, the food was overseasoned and frankly, not good. Has the flounder and filet and both did not even meet a mediocre rating....

Overpriced and poorly cooked 9/7/2007

Wow, were to start! We couldn't believe that we chose such a bad place to eat. New management does not look good on this overpriced food. The water was the only good part of the meal. We wanted to share a plate and there was a five dollar extra plate charge. What is that about? We had to struggle through this meal to the bitter end. This seafood place will sink fast! Pros: My son loved the boats. Cons: The food and prices! more

Poor Seafood 7/6/2007

The decor was nice, service was OK, but food was barely passable and expensive. I am just one of those people who believe if you are going to sell seafood you should know how to cook it. Everything that should have been well cooked wasn't, everything that should have been lightly cooked was over done. I think the meal I had may explain why there was so few people there on a Saturday evening. Don't waste your money or your time. I think the really disapponting part was when we called the manger over to explain that we weren't happy, and he just asked if he could make us something else, barely an apology. I explained to him both entree were over done why would I want to suffer through that again. Pros: Easy to get a seat Cons: Food stinks more

Avoid Your Own Bitter End -Do not recommend this restaurant 5/6/2007

A terrible disappointment. While the menu looks delicous, the food was overseasoned and frankly, not good. Has the flounder and filet and both did not even meet a mediocre rating. In addition, the disappointing quality of this food in no way match the prices this restaurant is charging. As someone who dines out frequently in Atlanta and Roswell, I am shocked this restaurant is still in business and strongly do not recommend it. It was a bitter end for me after this meal as I felt cheated and have no plans of ever returning. Pros: Ambience and menu give the impression that this place is great; Cons: Food terrible; more

Incredible Food, Service, Bar, & Atmosphere 8/28/2006

Aside from the unappealing name in my opinion, Bitter End was by far the most pleasurable experience dining out my husband and I have had in quite some time. We've done the posh posh restaurants around Atlanta, as well as the casual dining, but nothing has been so refreshing as Bitter End. We were seated promptly, the service was informative and incredible, the bar definitely didn't cheat you on the amount of alcohol given in your drink like most places, and the food spectacular. It's now our new and favorite spot! They have live music on Friday's. Two rooms for private parties, which I'm sure we'll take full advantage of soon because they're so private and secluded which we prefer. And the manager did his rounds to confirm our delight. I highly recommend you try this out, just don't tell everyone the little secret hidden in the Kroger shopping center that so many pass. I don't want to wait too long. :) Pros: Fresh Seafood, Incredible Service, & Atmosphere Cons: None Known Yet... more
