Bite Cafe

This is a very nice cafe and one of my favorite brunch spots. I like it because it has a very artsy and cool decor. You will find many interesting paintings all around this place. The cafe is small and the menu is pretty much your basic food, but they do a very good job of presenting the meals and making them fresh and tasty. The optimal and most tasty brunch option are their pancakes, which are heavanly. It is also very cheap and you will leave here with change from a 10 dollar bill and a stomach full of good food. more

I've eaten here a number of times, and the food is pretty consistently good. They usually have a pretty interesting brunch selection, and I like that they offer a variety of food options, including vegetarian, healthy and comfort food. My only complaint is that its hard to get a table for brunch on the weekends, and you have a lot of "squatters" that take up the tables too long. However, I have been there once when they encouraged someone who just wanted coffee to give up their table for someone who wanted to eat. They did it in a nice way without offending the person, which was cool. Only other complaint is the service is a little slow, which can be painful if you're really hungry to begin with. But overall, its good enough to keep going back to. more

Seriously, which babies in the hospital got told that they were better than all the other babies, or at least that they could put forth this flipant attitude towards the rest of the world? A hipster is born, and I get ignored. Super. Bite is full of them. The waitstaff-hipter pairing seems to be popular, even though it seems that waitstaff should be timely and cordial, care, you know? Bite's got good food at good prices, but waitstaff, come on: don't ignore me. Don't you need my tips to buy hairgel or something? more
