The food was decent enough, but the service was terrible. I counted eleven staff and fifteen customers on the Monday night I went, and I still had trouble getting the bartender's attention. Several off-duty employees came in while I was there, and the staff spent a lot of time hanging with the off-duty staff.
The bartender was just a little on this side of surly when I ordered, and had a bit of an attitude.
My beer was warm and flat as well.
That said, the food was OK. I ordered a cheeseburger, which was cooked the way I ordered it. However, the lettuce and tomatoes were tasteless and there was precious little cheese on my cheeseburger.
So don't bother eating at Bistro 301 unless you're in town for a convention and are not adventurous enough to venture into another part of town for better food.
Two stars, but only because my burger was cooked medium rare, as I ordered it.
