We were introduced to Dr. Bird's practice in June 2009 when my youngest daughter had fallen off of her bike one Friday afternoon and had damaged her two top front teeth. This of course occurred one day prior to her dance recital so needless to say this was a serious situation! I called several practices starting with our existing pediatric dentist and no one had Friday hours...except for Dr. Bird. I brought my daughter in and she was seen immediately and in no time her teeth were repaired. My wife never had to see the damage so I was in the clear as well! Since that time both my daughters have had all of their dentistry needs done at Bird Dentistry and then Braces by Bird. We highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Charlotte/Ballantyne area. They are also strong supporters in the community. more

Dr. Bird and her staff are awesome! We have been going there since we moved over 2 years ago. We hardly wait past our appointment time and love to see Ms. Heather for cleanings. Everyone we interact with is amazing and they make my kids feel so special! My son has gone through having a palate expander and braces at the age of 7 and Dr. Bird and her staff were so helpful in explaining all the steps involved in his treatment. Danielle was also super nice and helpful in explaining the financial end of things too. My son only had to wear everything for 4 short months and in the end, his teeth were so straight and enough room had been made for his adult teeth. I just had a friend ask today for a recommendation for a pediatric orthodontist in the area. I told her she HAS to go to Dr. Bird, she's the best! I work in the medical field, and you can tell that Dr. Bird treats her staff well and with respect. If her staff is happy, so are her patients! Love them all! more

Dr. Bird and her staff are amazing. I recommend her and her practice to all of my friends with kids and have only heard great things about everyone's experiences. My boys are happy in the waiting room (not that we ever have to wait more than 5 min), they love every member of the staff, and actually enjoy going to the dentist. Trust me, if these ladies can convince my very needy, clingy, sensitive 2 year old to sit through a cleaning (and successfully follow their very kid-friendly directions) AND convince my 4 year old to do x-rays and a cleaning without me being right there, since I was leery about 2 year old's behavior (and I needn't have), they are miracle workers! Thank you, Dr. Bird and staff! I will continue to recommend you to everyone who needs a pediatric dentist AND look forward to seeing you every 6 months (seriously, who looks forward to going to the dentist? We do!) more

Dr. Bird and her entire staff are very extremely kind to my children. We switched over from Laxer and Long as I was looking for a more personal experience. Dr. Bird is always there to talk to you about any issue that comes up with your child's teeth. She is very patient and understanding. It is a very open and cozy environment. I wish I had a dentist like this when I was growing up...it would have made me so excited to get my teeth cleaned! LOVE Dr. Bird! I can't recommend her highly enough to my friends! more

Bird Dentistry is amazing! Have had the BEST experiences there! My 4yr old daughter had her abscessing chipped front tooth extracted on 1/3/12 and it was suchba pleasant experience!! Dr. Bird and the hygienists are so caring, gentle and kind. Love Bird Dentistry, more

I am very happy to say that, Dr. Bird and her staff are very nice and helpful. Since the first time I spoke to Daniel I knew I was calling the right dental office for my children. Cynthia and Pam have helped me so much and are very sweet even when I have given then a headache. I will never forget Dr.Bird because she has given my children a beautiful smile that I am very proud of, I truly thank her from the bottom of my heart and she will always have a special place in it. Thanks again Dr.Bird and her wonderful staff, Kelley and Jonathan will always be thankful to you all. more
