Bill's Transmission Service

I purchsed a car from it's owner just six months ago. It had a one year warranty from Bill's Transmission Shop and the transmission failed at the 11th month with only 3000 miles on it.\r Bill wouild not fix it so I brought it to another shop that has already found that Bill never replaced the solenoids and I'm sure they will find out a lot more in the next few days.\r I see nothing but bad reports about this place so stay away.\r I will win in court no doubt but avoid this place like the plague. more

My family has been going to Bill's Transmission for years they have always been great!!! We have had custom transmissions for our racecars and hotrods and have never had a problem. If there was ever a problem with anything there we no questions asked they fixed everything including our daily drivers from time to time. We would recommend bill to anyone anytime and know others that will as well! Thanks Bill and Family for all of the great transmissions and for fixing anything we may have needed fixed! more

I brought my car back to this scumbag multiple times to be fixed each time he would charge me an outrageous price and my car would be back in there within a week. He is the biggest piece of crap that i know and plan on taking this to court. I have spent several thousand here and he fails to even fix the problem, he would just do something to make it work for the time being. I had to bring it back 3 times in one week for the same thing each visit was minimum 175 just to go out of town and have it do the same thing and when I bring it to a shop here they tell me that this guy didnt replace anything that he claimed he did! I found Bill's after searching through local transmission shops on the internet. They had a good rating so I figured they were my best bet. WRONG!! I brought them an opened trans which I knew needed one bearing. I know this bc I am an X retired trans mechanic. They quoted me at $350 which was reasonable and told me they couldn't get to it for 4 days. On the 8th day the bill is now $1100 dollars without a single phone call. On day 19 I go to pick up and receive a $1900 invoice. I refuted this until the had a few of their employees stand up to me. I payed and am now in litigation with these people. Don't make my mistake these are not honest people. more

Bill at Bill's Transmission seemed very honest and trustworthy. I had asked them if they could install a transmission that I had purchased from someplace else and they had no problem with doing that. They did not check the transmission on the first one I took them and after they installed it, they said it slips in third gear. That cost me double the installation charge because I had to order another one and then Bill checked it before he installed it and said it was great and it truly was, Why couldn't he have done that on the first transmission I brought to him? Their were several issues that happened to my vehicle after I got it back and I brought it back for Bill to fix but once he got my money, all my vehicle did was sit at his shop and nothing was done to it for 2 weeks. He finally told me to take my vehicle to another shop and if they determined it was due to the transmission being replaced he would pay for it.this cost me a lot of extra time and money and aggravation.
