After driving for over 30 years, you pick up bad habits and riding along with them has helped me correct some of my own inaccuracies. I like how he teaches with repetition and he has much more insight than anyone I know. He also explains why he’s telling you to do certain things and encourages with positive reinforcements. I wouldn’t change anything about our experience. We are very happy and my daughter is now confident in her driving abilities. In an aura of control and safety . . . 7/9/2010

We can’t thank you enough! We now have two daughters who have successfully passed their driving tests after going through Bills Defensive Driving School. Bill is a definite professional.\r He incorporates skill and ease in his communication with his students. In an aura of control and safety, Bill uses consistency and repetition to focus the student on the primary techniques of safe driving. We are extremely pleased with the lessons we received for our teenaged son. Bill was patient and knowledgeable, and the lessons were fun. He also understands that a driver needs to experience rush hour, crowded traffic, pedestrians, and curvy roads. His vehicle also has both brake AND accelerator on his side. He also encourages parents to accompnay him and the student on the lessons. Watching him teach made us better instructors for the remaining 50 hours of instruction that we were responsible for.   • We provide driving lessons throughout the Bay Area in Contra Costa, Alameda, Marin, and San Francisco counties. If you or a family member want to learn to drive, preparing for a learner's permit or driving test, or just want to reevaluate and improve your defensive driving skills, please call us today.
    Our driving lessons are conducted in cars specially equipped with accelerator and brake controls on the instructor's side, unlike other driving schools. (DMV only requires that training vehicles have a brake pedal.) This enables our instructors to actually drive the car, not just to stop it, providing a much safer experience for the student. We also train in full size vehicles, not compact cars. We train our students in defensive driving techniques in a wide range of driving environments so that they will become capable, responsible, safe drivers.
