My husband rides his bike to and from work every day, three days ago he noticed he'd popped the tube on his back tire, and instead of replacing it himself he opted to go to Bike and Hike.
They charged him fifteen dollars and all was well, except that he made it two blocks away before the tire was flat again. He had to hurry off to work so he returned the next day to have them fix it for real, expecting that they would not charge him to fix their own mistakes.
Only they did, another $15 to fix something he had just paid them to repair. But whatever, we were sure we were never going there again, but at least his bike was fixed... oh no though, today he went to ride to work only to find that the same tire was completely flat and refusing to hold air AGAIN.
Needless to say we are never going back, and would not recommend that anyone use their services.
