Biga breads are the best. The two previous comments may have ""good"" taste for breads but trully bad taste in human relations.\r \r Alex

I will try anabbb's pick and I recommend my pick too 12/6/2006

Hahahahahaaaaaaa, ""No more crappy cuban bakeries for me."" anabbb, you're right. The true reasons that we are having such a hard time to find a decent bakery in Miami is because Latins (by average) are not accustomed to have a higher need to enjoy fine quality flour baked goods. Besides that, it is a finer part of ""life style"" they have not acquired. I've carefully picking through the back alleys of London, Paris, NYC, and Washington DC, however, when picking a decent bakery in Miami, I also recommend La Provence French Bakery (1627 Collins Avenue South Beach FL). The girls are not trained on the best corporate handbook but the bake goods are above average when you're there at the right time, let's say around 4-5pm when the fresh goodies are just out of the oven. more

Great Bread & More 6/18/2005

What an aroma when you walk in the door. Reminiscent of Olde Europe. The bread tastes even better than it smells. No more crappy cuban bakeries for me. This is the real deal. Tasy, not just filled with sugar like the other places. Good variety and friendly service. Pros: great bread, lots of choices, helpful staff Cons: NO PARKING! more
