Beyond expectations 1/25/2012

How often do you find a service provider that earns ALL five-star ratings from its clents? It was a first for me... I was skeptical. I'm a convert now. I will use Big All's whenever I need something important moved; I will do what I can to spread the word to friends and relatives looking for moving services of all variety if trustworthiness, expertise, customer care that remembers you are an individual with individual needs and concerns. Three cheers for Big Al! more

Great people make for great experience! 1/17/2012

Best moving experience we've had. Our crew was great! They enjoy their work and have fun but also are pros and know what they are doing. Very polite as well. Everyone from the owner to the crew to our scheduling coordinator were fantastic -- so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend to others!!! more

So professional, polite, and STRONG 1/13/2012

We have had Big Al's move our piano before and decided to call them to move approximately half of our furniture from Portland to our new smaller home in Livingston, Montana. Al arrived a day early in Livingston, and was so patient and accommodating regarding placement of the furniture in the new home. Even helped while we changed our minds a few times! BUT the icing on the cake was that he got my rather large treadmill up a small staircase to the second floor! I can highly recommend them to do any job, large or small. more

The crew called 1hr. 30" before their arrival and arrived right on time. Herman and his crew went right to work wrapping my sofa and moved downstairs to my garage. I was surprised that they were able tomove things around and stand up the sofa so I could get my car back into garage - much appreciated during this stormy weather. Great experience and would use again when needed. more

Outstanding, impeccable, and professional! 10/19/2011

I purchased a Steinway piano and had it delivered several states away to another home. The piano company contacted Big Al's to transport my piano, and when it arrived I was amazed. The truck was spotless inside and out. The team was on time, the piano was brought inside and assembled with precision. Every angle and measurement was made to ensure the right spot for placement and miraculously, I never saw any packaging. They are the most efficient team I have ever experienced. I would trust them to transport fine art and rare antiques, as well as any item you treasure in your home. Big Al's Specialty Movers are an incredible team of professionals. It was my pleasure to have them in my home. You can trust your family heirlooms with this experienced team. more

The ONLY movers for me! 10/19/2011

This is the third move with which Big Al and his staff have helped. They've packed for me twice and there is no one else to whom I would trust my belongings! The men are efficient in their actions, thoughtful of their surroundings and - most appreciated with the stress of moving - so JOYFUL! When my daughter needed to move I called no one but Big Al's. Vicky was sensitive to the scheduling limitations but also aware of my desire to do this as economically as possible. Albert, James and JJ arrived on schedule, commenced packing and finished the move with lightning speed! As is always the case when I have Big Al's team, I was awed by the speed, skill and ability of the men. There will be at least one more move in my lifetime and Big Al's will do it. You guys are the best! more

Very careful and professional movers! 10/12/2011

This was the second time my parents have used Big Al's Specialty Movers, and my first experience with them. I thought they were great! They showed up on time and worked all day, only taking their designated lunch and breaks. Herman was the lead guy, and he was very friendly, just a really good guy. My mom has a lot of stuff, a lot of paintings and collectibles she's gotten overtime, things she really cares about. The guys took a lot of time packing her things and were very careful about it. They put her things into boxes and were very nice about it. Everything made it to the final destination in perfect condition! I'd definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anybody! more

When we have to move we call Big Al's. 10/10/2011

We're totally satisfied with Big Al's Specialty Movers, so we keep going back to them. Moving is one of those things we just do, and if when we have to move we call Big Al's. They're a 5 plus! I think we've used them three different times, and why we keep coming back is because of their service. They let us know when they are coming, give us a really clear idea of what they're doing, and we're back and forth with them at the office so there are no surprises. more
