I can't say enough good things about my favorite romantic place on earth. This B&B offers a remodeled hay loft in a gorgeous old barn that was made famous in the '40s by NW author Betty MacDonald in her book ""The Egg and I,"" which also became a Fred MacMurray movie in the '60s. Rustic and filled with charming, inspired decor, the loft offers natural light coming from one entire wall that is floor-to-ceiling windows and opens out to a full-length deck set above a fragrant garden, nestled at the foot of an evergreen forest, within walking distance of the beach, and with beautiful views of Puget Sound and Mt. Ranier. The proprieters leave fresh flowers throughout the loft, and stock the kitchen with special goodies such as Puyallup Fair scone mix, farm fresh eggs and more for your very special, very private breakfast-making together.
Pros: beautiful large loft, best views, ever, romantic breakfast
Cons: 11 a.m. check out
