Bethel Retirement Community

My in-laws have been at Bethel for over 9 months now. The transition of leaving their home and moving to Bethel was difficult for all. The caregivers, housekeepers, med techs, kitchen staff, maintenance and others have gone above and beyond to make my in-laws as comfortable as they can. There has always been an open door policy with management. They have always been willing to listen with genuine concern to EVERY problem that we have had and have handled all of these concerns with compassion and swiftness. I have only wanted what was best for my in-laws and I know at times I was very demanding but everyone has been patient, helpful and very friendly. There is a real feeling of family with everyone at Bethel. I know we made the right choice in moving my in-laws to Bethel and I am very thankful to all that work there. Thank you. Diana May more

When I first put my Mom here, everyone was sooo wonderful yesing me to death-don't worry etc. After she was here for 4 months the management staff walked around like they didn't care-very unfriendly and I no longer get a warm fuzzy feeling. This is supposed to be a home"" for people-to me they act too business like and not sincere.....its just a job for them--sorry-I really think managment should take lessons from the poorly paid staff...their the ones who make it a cheery place to be!!! Sometimes I wonder if they ever had training in Geriatric Care.. Pros: cleaning staff and social staff and servers wonderful! Cons: Office Staff are (Directors, managers) Snobby and Unsincere more

My grandmother lived in this facility for two years prior to her ultimate death. Her apartment was cute and comfortable. The meals served were delicious and the staff helping her were courteous and caring. The step down units for advanced care made transitions less difficult. Highly recommendl. more
