Me and my boyfriend frequent the Berk for brunch about twice/month, and have made it for dinner a few times as well. Food is delicious, the staff are excellent. Try the bacon-- you won't be disappointed. The bottomless mimosas and relaxed atmosphere keep us coming back! The happy hour prices are almost ridiculous they're so good. The pork-inspired menu makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The staff is friendly (our server Taylor told us he commutes from Boulder just to work at the Berk), the place is clean and the ambiance is nice for a group of friends or a relaxing night out with y'er gal. The music was right out of my ipod's playlist. Try the new pork chop or $50 kobe burger (always on sale for $20... ) in addition to the slider favorites. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. I love coming here after a big night out for their yummy brunch and bottomless mimosas. You have to try their burger with bacon and EVERYTHING ON IT! What a wonderful place ! It's about time someone opened a place with character, that's a ""non-chain"" in this great neighborhood. Whether for drinks or food, it's a winnder. I personally loved the sliders, the pork belly, and the genius burger, to name a few. The wine list suprised me in it's variety and killer lay out by description. I've yet to try the pulled pork sliders, but am aiming to next time. Kudos for continuing to add items to the menu; love The Berk ! Pros: They CAN bring home the bacon ! more

The Berkshire is the first restaurant I had ever stumbled upon that featured Bacon as the main ingredient. And sure enough, Now that the Berk is out doing it right, more restaurants around the country that are trying to compete are following suit. Now dont be intimidated or turned off by the bacon...Its not the only thing on the menu, just a focal point. Great atmosphere, food, service and ownership is what really sets this place apart. Walk-ins are welcome anytime but if you have a special event and want to reserve the back room it's no problem. If I have to suggest one item to get...well I couldnt, so I will suggest two: Meatloaf is absolutely to die for, and the KING (peanut butter, bananas and bacon on a sweet roll) which, oddly enough, Elvis probably would have died for had he been given the opportunity. Recently opened, the Berkshire is quickly becoming a staple in the surrounding neighborhood and if you give it a chance I am sure that you will be quick to call it your new Peach Pit. Also, while you're there be sure to say ""Hi"" to the owner Andy and his wife Krissy. Two crazy kids in love doing what they do best...makin' bacon. YUP.\r This place is like high end gourmand, meets italian deli, meets trendy wine bar, meets the best burger joint you have ever been It is an indulgent food fantasy of deliciousness unparalleled in this city. The motto, ""Swine Wine and a good time"" is pinpoint on target. The menu is fantastic and reminds me of a very creative and skilled chef crossed with the best Texas smoke house, blended with the late night diner....wrapped in bacon. The food is very good and consistent at The Berk! You get good serving sizes and never leave needing more. The staff has always been very welcoming and the bar is a comfortable place to hang out. I have never in my life had such an enjoyable dining experience! The Berkshire has it all. A super friendly, knowledgeable (and especially good-looking) staff, amazing food, an extensive and creative drink menu and the perfect ambiance....not to mention reasonable prices and always a fun crowd. I wish I could wrap it up and bring it back east with me when I head home! The Berkshire is my new favorite place. Ask for Andy or Krissy (the owners) when you arrive and you will be treated like royalty. They really have a knack for making you feel like family... The minute you walk in the Berkshire, you feel at home. It is a place you want to keep going back to! The food is superb, the staff is super friendly and the drinks are so good, it is impossible to have just one. Plus, the girls that hang out there are super hot! This is the place for you if you ""dig on swine"" or if you don't. The menu has something for everyone. Believe me, you WILL NOT go home disappointed! By far, the menu is so reasonably priced for dishes that far, far exceed expectations. Incorporating some type of bacon in many dishes is an amazing idea and scrumptious. Everything is very fresh, appealing. The drink specials are hard to believe from mimosas to beer, whatever!\r The owner and staff really do get excited for you when they see how much you love everything. They also bend over backwards to help in any way they can. I've been to hundreds of restaurants in this country and Europe and I have to say this is in my top 5 list! Run! I have enjoyed all the meals I've had here. Brunch, Lunch and Diner. The food is different, delicious and fresh. The staff is friendly fun and knowledgeable. They always have good music on and TV's showing Sports, the Food Network and adventure sport movies. It's my favorite spot for ""Swine, Wine and a Good Time."" Pros: Best Brunch I've ever been to!
