My wife and I are in South Beach a couple of times a year, and she usually insists that we stop at Ben and Jerry's. I'm a fan of their ice cream, but the service at this location is so consistently bad, I was finally moved to write a review.
I don't expect much from kids making minimum wage - acknowledgement, reasonable attentiveness, maybe a ""have a nice day"" after I pay. Here, as usual, it was like we were interrupting the staff by being in the store. After standing in line for twenty minutes, starting from number 5 in the queue, the kid at the counter just looked up from his phone call to his friend when it was our turn. It took another five minutes for him to complete our order. From start to finish, he didn't say a thing. Consistently bad service outweighs good ice cream.
