I just got married on November 27th. I am a second time 52 year old bride, and they made me feel like I was as special as any other bride. They helped me find the perfect dress and bridesmaid dresses. Not only that, but because I planned my wedding in such a short amount of time (2 Months), they helped me with everything from planning to invitations and even hairstyles. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. These girls are great. My wedding was absolutely beautiful, and my dress and all the girls, plus my mom's dresses were just beautiful. I had such a wonderful experience at Belle of the Ball. I was helped by Maria, Terri, and their staff. I am plus sized so it felt so comforting to walk into the shop, and see such a selection. I had searched the website as well and noticed they have dresses in all sizes, large and small. Walking in their cozy little shop, makes you feel like you are at your girlfriend's house. The ladies of Belle of the Ball made me feel welcome and were very patient with me while I tried on almost every gown in the place! They have a wonderful selection of bridesmaid's gowns as well. I found my dream gown at Belle of the Ball. When I walked in the door I was immeadiately greeted by a young girl, she asked if we had an appointment and I told her no I did not. I was certain at this point I would have been turned away as I had been at other salon but instead she said no problem! After a brief discussion about what type of wedding gown I had pictured she brought me a selection of at least 8 gowns that fit my description. I did not feel rushed or pressured I even tried on my favorite gown three different times before I committed to the gorgeous satin beaded gown. My first encounter with Maria and Terri was at a Bridal show, from the moment I met them I loved their personality. Within the next few months I made several and I mean several trips to their shop trying to narrow down my choice. They even went as far as ordering a particular dress in my size because that was the one I thought I was going to get. My Mom and I went in for what was supposed to be our final decision night out of the 3 dresses I was undecided on. As we walk in Maria informs me that a new dress arrived and she instantly thought of me when she saw it, never the less, it was the dress I was longing for. I loved it! It was perfect. The girls were always so wonderful to me, I am sure I made them crazy! Whenever I called or wanted to stop in, I was always told to come on over. My bridesmaid?s loved the girls too; everything was perfect with our order. We never had to call them for a thing. When my dress came in, it was then onto deciding my veil! The girls helped me design the most amazing veil I had ever seen, if only I could wear it every day. The prices were right, the atmosphere was incredible and no matter what size you are there is always plenty for you try on. Their seamstress Gloria is a miracle worker! Since I was losing so much weight we didn?t want to take a chance and not have the dress fit so Gloria waited until exactly 1 week before the wedding to start the job. She must have worked 24/7, I lost about 50 pounds so my dress had to be taken in all over and then the beading re-done on the front. We also found out that I was allergic to the material in the cap sleeves and of course they had to go, Gloria again had to work her magic and re-design the dress. WONDERFUL, wonderful you would have never known what this poor woman had went through in trying to make my dress so special for me that day, and one that fit. Pros: EVERYTHING....they are Amazing! I just bought my wedding gown last weekend and I absolutely love it. The consultants there were so friendly and helpful. The prices were great and the selection was even better. I think I tried on at least 20 gowns and I'm so happy I was able to find ""the one."" We're going back for bridesmaids and my mom in about a month. I can't wait. It really was unlike any other shop I've been too before. They made it very fun and relaxing. I highly recommend them. These women were absolutely great. They have a huge selection of gowns for girls of every size. I'm a plus-sized woman and I found everything I'd ever wanted there. They were so attentive even on a busy Saturday. I didnt have an appointment but I would probably recommend one for the weekend. You can just walk in and no one is snotty to you at all. Everyone there makes you feel so at home and comfortable. It was great I recommend them to everyone I know. Pros: Everything from the selection and pricing to the owners themselves. Just awesome.
