I was not impressed by the selection at Bella Bridal. They had too many dresses and it seemed unorganized. My sales lady told me to shop and look around. All I was thinking was, I have never done this before and I thought they were going to show us dresses. It was weird. I tried on about 3 dresses and didnt find anything that I loved. The lady helping us seemed young and inexperienced. I would not go back there for my wedding apparel. more

I am a mom of a recent bride and two other daughters who have not been married but Im sure will be in the future. We have visited several bridal shops in search for bridal or formal wear and always have found Bella to truelly stand out as a welcoming and nice store. Other bridal stores were mostly ok but nothing special. Wait till you see this shop and the awesome space and great gowns. You will feel like you are in a store designed to make you and your guests feel special. The gowns are reasonably priced and the service fun and informative. When we purchased a gown from Bella we made appointments to pick up and try on because you need a sales person to help you do this. If there are other people in the store with appointments already, then how would you be helped? I like that Bella does this because you can know that when you go to the store for a specific reason then you will be helped right away because you have an appt. Anyway I dont normally take the time to right reviews but I was searching for a specific formal need and came across some bad reviews for Bella and wanted you to know that we have had great service when visiting or buying from Bella Bridal Boutique. more

Get anything they say in writing before you buy! I was lied to twice by one of their managers. The first was about a discount on a dress, the second was after I bought the dress they told me it would include the steaming of the dress, dropped it off to be steamed and was told that it was not included, I would have to pay for it. I understand trying to make a sale but when you wok at a store ethics comes into play. There are much better places to get your wedding dress and brides do not need the extra stress. more

I went to Bella Bridal Boutique for my Bridal gown and got my bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos there as well! The ladies were very nice and attentive to me and my wedding party. I felt very welcome and cared for. All of the consultants were nice and showed interest in me, even if they weren't directly working with me. I was able to schedule an appointment and bring my mom and sister with me to my appointment. I was able to pick the dresses I wanted to try on, but the consultants also pulled dresses for me to try on as well. I didn't feel pressured to purchase on my first visit and I felt very comfortable with my purchase. I had a few memebers of my wedding party that live out of state, and Bella was very helpful with getting their orders placed as well. The tuxedos and bridesmaids dresses all fit great and the pricing was very reasonable. We felt like we were getting great deals and wonderful service! I am so glad that I found Bella Bridal Botuique. We chose Bella Bridal because they carried the line of dresses we were interested in. Customer service was good while we were in the store and trying on dresses, but when it came time to pick them up we were seriously disappointed. This store does not do alterations, nor pressing, but you are expected to make an appointment to pick up your dress and pay for it. However, they won't let you do a pick-up on a Saturday and I was told that they stay open late on Mondays and Thursdays so couldn't I come in then? When did it become ok to stipulate when a customer can come in, pay for a dress they are buying from you, and take it home. Its not like it has to be tried on and pinned for alterations...etc. Very, very disappointed and will not be recommending this store to anyone. more

I had high hopes of finding a dress that I liked at Bella Bridal, I was a walk in appointment and was disappointed with the lack of attention I received. I was told to look at the dresses and when I found one i like that I could try it on. I received no input or suggestions after I told her what I was looking for. I ended up leaving the store after feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. They were very casual and not very professional. This store was not my style at all. more

Bella Bridal was wonderful to work with the moment I walked through the door. I had been around to a bunch of other shops and had some bad experiences at some so so experiences. All in all not so great at these other shops. I am plus size, so this posed another issue when looking for my bridal gown. Almost every store I went to didn't have anything over a size 12! I walked into Bella feeling as though I would never find something that I liked much less that I would actually be able to try on. I was so surprised when I asked what sizes their dresses ranged from to hear that they carry a wide variety of sizes ranging from 4 to 22! The consultant that was helping me was such a sweetheart and truly cared about me as a customer! Not only did I find dresses that I could actually try on, but I ended up finding my wedding gown here. I purchased on my first visit so my consultant informed me that I would be eligible to receive a bella card for $75 that I could use toward accessories. My experience was so wonderful here, it blew all the other shops out of the water in the twin cities area. I have recommended this shop to friends and family and will continue to do so!! more

My mom and I went to Bella Bridal hoping to find mother of the bride dress for her. We went on a weekday afternoon because we did not want it to be a busy day shopping. We were shown how everything was set up and then left to ""shop"". Never once did anyone check back with us or make any recommendations. After about 15 minutes we left empty handed and were disappointed. I would think that they would want the business of a mothers dress, but apparently not. Oh my gosh, I just love this place. I went to bella 2 yrs ago for my prom dress and found a great one and was sooo excited to come back someday for my wedding dress!! I am now engaged and came back to bella and love it just as much as the first time i came there! They are so nice and helpful, first i looked through all the dresses and picked out what i wanted to try and then the girl helping me went and picked some dresses. She ended up picking the dress that i fell in love with and ordered. I am getting everything from bella. invitations, tuxes, bridesmaids and even my mom found her dress their too :) I have been in their like a million times now and no matter who i work with i always have a great time. this is what your wedding dress experience is supposed to be like! its supposed to be fun like what you dreamed of when you were little and playing dress up. It is so comfortable and organized ( they have huggggeeee fashionable, clean, fitting rooms and couches.) I went to the wedding shoppe ( i dont know why.....) and it was so small and dirty and me and my sisters were all so crammed in and their was like one chair to sit on. I have been looking for a prom dress for a long time and was so glad that I found Bella Bridal, my mom and I had been lookin all day! I thought that I was never going to find the dress. I thought it was so cool that I got to be in a big fitting room and have the girls there helping me zip up the dresses. It made me feel really special. Some dresses are so CONFUSING to get into that I really needed help, they were really fast to help me. They were really super nice and helpful that I came back with my boyfriend and told him he had to get his tux here! Pros: Friendly staff, great selection, so totally AWESOME!! Cons: What cons?! more

I went to Bella a couple weeks back and was very pleasantly surprised at the overall experience. I walked into the store and was greeted by two ladies sitting at the front desk. One of the them introduced herself and said that she would be working with me today. I was taken back to the fitting room area so I could set my things down. It was so nice to have a big open space for trying on the dresses (the fitting rooms) and also viewing the dresses (their viewing area had 2 full couches and chairs with an huge mirrors all across the wall). The atmosphere at Bella was everything I would imagine a bridal shop should be. I was looking for bridal and bridesmaid and although I was told they like to set up separate appointments for that, they would be more than willing to fit in both in my hour and a half appointment. This was great especially since other bridal stores I had been to prior would not let me combine appointments like that. The staff that I worked with was very knowledgeable in the wedding field and were able to answer all of my questions. I have a little sister who is going to prom that I recommended as well as other friends of mine who are getting married. They have gone to Bella as well and had a great experience. Some people have absolutely no clue what they are talking about if they say people are rude at Bella Bridal Boutique! From the second I walked in the door I was greeted by three VERY friendly staff members and then I was taken back into the fitting room area. I could not believe how amazing the dressing room area was. All the other places I have been to have been so cramped that it made me crabby and just wanted to get out of there. \r \r They had a whole wall of mirrors in back with boxes so I could stand up higher, I am shorter so the dresses are all pretty long on me, so this helped me visualize what the dress would really look like when I got it altered. I am also petite so a lot of the dresses were really big on me, which most places I have been too didn't do much about it so it was hard for me to see what the dress really looked like but here they used clips and made the dress look amazing on me. \r \r They were so helpful and patient with me that I have recommended them to 2 of my friends that are getting married. My friends have told me how amazing their experience was and how they will definately be going back to get their dresses as well. \r \r I also had a few questions on whether or not certain things could be changed on dresses and they went as far to call the designers and ask how much things would cost, if things could be done and so forth. One of the designers was closed by this time so they said they would check first thing when they opened in the morning and they would give me a call back the following morning. Sure enough, they did not dissapoint, I received a call shortly after they opened the next day telling me all the details I needed to know about a certain dress. \r \r I have ordered my dress, bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos through them and every time they have been wonderful to work with and even remember who I was and asked me how the planning was coming along. Trying on wedding gowns hasn't been the most wonderful experience with other shops around the cities. Rude staff, terrible parking, hidden fees. I went to Bella expecting similar type of service at the other places and was pleasantly surprised with the great staff and competitive prices that were very similar to other stores. I was greeted and shown the store. They had me put my things in a dressing room and then showed me how the dresses were categorized in the store. I was given 5 hanging cards to place on the dresses I liked. They brought them to the dressing room area for me. When it came time to change into the dresses the woman stood outside the dressing room and handed me the dress on the side of the curtain. she asked me to get into it and then let her know when she could come in. she then helped fit me into the dress. This was the same process for getting out of the dress and changing into a new one. I really liked the fact that they weren't standing in there with me while I was in my underwear. I ended up going there alone that day and the woman even took a few pictures of me in the dresses I liked. I plan on going back and ordering my gown from Bella. I highly recommend this place. The customer service was unbelievable. I agree it is too bad people only post bad reviews of places on these site. Tip to brides out there... MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Don't expect places to fall all over you if you just happen to walk in and expect to be helped with people at your beck and call. this was the first place i chose to look at dresses, bad idea. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT and still when i showed up i felt as if i was a bother right off the bat. they had three other appointments at the same time so they shoved me and my few people i brought into the corner of the ""dressing room"" shoving us out of the way when they needed to get by. no place for any of us to sit down since there were so many other people in there. the lady who was ""helping"" us (who i later found out was the owner?!?!) was probably one of the most rude and stuck up people i have ever met and acted like we were wasting her time the whole time we were there. even if i had found a dress i would have liked, i would find it some place else just so i didnt have to go back. thanks for making something thats supposed to be fun a crappy experience. more

I had been searching for a wedding dress for quite awhile. I went to most of the local shops...and didn't have the best service, which means a lot to a person like me who has been working in customer service for quite some time. After arriving at Bella and being greeted at the door, I was given a thorough tour of the store by the salesperson who helped me until the end of my appointment. She was extremely friendly and answered every question I had with ease. She also was very upfront about the discounts they offer yet didn't pressure me to make a decision on the spot. I ended up purchasing my dress from Bella and I couldn't have been happier.\r Its too bad that people only come on these sites to post their bad experiences...I have reccommend Bella to all of my family and friends!! My sister and I decided to go looking for dresses for our wedding. She was in from out of town and she did find a dress here. She got measured and ordered her dress in plenty of time for her wedding. However, the dress came about 3 weeks before her wedding and it was 5 inches too SHORT! They first tried to blame her for ordering the wrong size. BUT SHE WAS MEASURED THERE! They TOLD her the size to order. They ended up ordering her a new dress and expediting it and at first they tried to say ""oh we'll cover the expediting"" DUH!! They better since they are the ones who ordered the dress wrong!!! Well, the next 3 weeks were hell for our family as we waited for her dress to get in. It arrived 3 days before her wedding...They did not know how to order the size correctly and they caused unnecessary stress on her life. Anyway, I was supposed to order my bridesmaid dresses there but I decided not to. I get a much better deal at the Wedding Shoppe...even though Bella offered me their ""special"" 30% off rate. Wedding shoppe was $30 per dress cheaper! I would never go there and I'm sad to say we even did business with them. My mom even tried to look for 2 mother of the bride dresses there and nobody even bothered to help her! She ended up ordering them from Nordstroms and they were much nicer and cheaper from there! What can I say except for this place took all the wind out of my sail. I was so excited for dress shopping and could not wait to start my search for my dress. I stopped in on a week day afternoon with my mom and we were shown around and never helped again. My mom had to help me in and out of each dress and the sales lady never checked back with us to see if we needed any help or offered any suggestions. After the sixth dress, we were fed up and left. I would not reccommend this store. It was a super dissapointing experience and even if I would have found a dress that I liked there, I would have not purchased from there due to horrible customer service. Avoid this place like the plague. The store doesn't understand what customer service is and the salespeople are not knowledgeable at all. After my experience, I heard that the store owner and the sales clerks have no experience in the bridal industry and it shows. I went to this shop on a Tuesday afternoon and was greeted by a crabby desk clerk and was told to look at the dresses and if I found some to try on that I liked they could give me a room. I only found one dress that I sort of liked and was given a room to try it on. I was given no assistance in the room and zipped myself into the gown. I thought the dress was nice, and had a couple of questions regarding size and color and there was no sales lady to be found. I took off the dress and left. I felt there customer service was not great and did not want to buy from a store that gave me no help. I would not reccommend this store. I did not have the best experience and left disgruntled.
